Shipping update!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the long wait. Mod Sky has been down with flu but the domestic orders have been shipped!

Orders should be arriving by Monday. Emails will be sent out later for shipping confirmation.

Mod Robin has received the international orders and they are being sorted right now to get them ready for shipping.

they found a very fitting non-denominational space themed chapel with awesome stained glass windows. and since he’s going to be nervous and happy but much more mature on the Day Of, Lance is getting all his mischief out of the way on the practice run. i love that his friends are 0% phased by this. also Rover 2.0 FTW i drew this almost exactly one year ago as a merch print for @shanced-wedding zine. the merch print was a postcard crop of this cutting off just over halfway up the sun. i couldn’t fit everything i wanted in the print ratio and said fuckit i’m drawing it for me anyway XD and added some sparkle because it’s been a year and i found the fancy brushes in my art program mwuahahaha. this is currently available as a full print now in my shop preorders

Hello! Mod Sky has hosted the PDF zine for sale on her Gumroad store.

The PDF zine includes the main PDF zine and the wedding soundtrack.

If you’re interested in the 18+ extra, please send an email to shancedwedding [at] gmail.com to disclose your age along with your order # as proof of purchase.

All income generated from sales will be used to make up the deficit needed to finish shipping the pre-orders and any profit generated will be donated to Human Rights Watch. Thank you so much for your continued support!

I can finally post this! Well, I’ve been allowed to post this for some time now but I haven’t been able to remember. This is my piece for @shanced-wedding which was super fun to create and adorable <3 

They get a big fancy hotel on the ocean for their honeymoon and they might be a liiiitle bit super extremely exhausted after wedding partying all day.

hey! i just got the email with the PDF version of the zine, so thank you. but considering i spent a lot of money on the physical zine + merch, the line about not considering any refunds from this point forward is making me nervous considering we have no projection date by which we're meant to be receiving the zine. worst case scenario, something happens where the zines can't get sent out, i'd hope we can get our money back?

Hello! We will not consider full refunds for the zine as there is a price to the PDF zine as well. I hope you can understand. 

As mentioned in the update, the zines are scheduled to be sent out in a few weeks time. In the scenario where packages are lost (that we have no control of), and we do not have the necessary stock to resend a replacement, please contact us and we will definitely work with you to do a partial refund.

Delete any unconstructive asks right away and maybe schedule a "no new updates" post bi-monthly until you get more updates! Sometimes even knowing that nothing has changed can be reassuring!! Take care of yourselves 💕

PDFs have been delivered!

By now all customers should have received a dropbox link of the PDF zine and soundtrack in their emails. If you haven’t received it, please contact us with your name (that you ordered with) and email. 

Since we have released the digital content of the zine, we will not be accepting any full refund requests for the zine, to avoid people trying to get away without paying for the zine.

In the (unlikely) scenario that the physical zine does not get delivered, which the only way for that to happen is that the package gets lost, you can contact us and we will initiate a partial refund if you do not want the zine re-shipped to you.

Speaking of physical zines, domestic shipping will commence once Mod Sky is able to send out the full international package to Mod Robin, who will disseminate the international packages from there. We estimate this to happen by 24th August. 

We are giving it our best to get things delivered as promised, thank you for being infinitely patient with us :)

It’s been an absurdly long journey that no one wanted to take, but I am so appreciate of people like you that take the time to spread positivity. No one knows the amount of negative, aggressive anon asks we get, and as the one keeping this blog afloat, I have to go through them every day. It weighs a person down so much... And as someone with several mental and physical disabilities, it’s very hard to keep coming back to this project to make sure it’s done and that you lovely people are updated as soon as I am.

I honestly no longer care if I’m considered childish or immature for my last replies. I’m so tired. We as a mod team have struggled with this project since before day one, since each of us was selected as a mod we have hit wall after wall. I do not want one of those walls to be random anons that decide to spin a roulette and take a dump on us because they can. I’m not sure about the other mods, but I am chipping away. I have lost so much sleep and hair from trying to solve the problems we face in this project, and now that we’re so close, it seems people are only getting more hostile. As the only person who reads through these asks, I can’t take it anymore.

So please, if you have even a semblance of a heart, keep your rude comments to yourself and consider that there is another person with their own life on the other side of the screen. You don’t know what they’re going through, what they’re trying to overcome.There are people out there that wake up every morning and wonder if this is their last day. Don’t be the one to tip that scale. Spread love. Spread kindness.

Hello, how are you all doing? Do you have some news for us? Keep up the great work!

Hi!

This a little older ask, but I would rather reply to the kind words rather than the... not so kind words.

For those of you curious/worried about the shipping, I, Mod Kai, do not have any of the physical merch. I made the buttons and sent them off to Mod Sky, who is trying to balance work, health, personal, and this zine at one time. I am not going to pressure her, and I humbly ask that you do not either. I am relaying information as I get it, and she has personal hurdles that take priority. Yes, you have all waited for this zine, but the items have been printed and made, we posted pics as proof, have given receipts as proof, and have done our hardest to try to see this to the end while keeping you all in the loop. I no longer have anything to give to you as buffer while we wait for Mod Sky to recover physically and mentally enough to sort through HUNDREDS of zines, prints, and merch.

I’m sorry this turned into a bit of a rant, but PLEASE, consider the hurdles this zine has already faced and what we have done to get this project complete, and remember this is/was a charity zine, before you send passive aggressive asks our way. (And we’re not even sure if we will have enough profit to donate to charity, much less break even on shipping)

I personally thank every one of you that has sent us naught but kind words and encouragement, knowing we are all human. Remember what your kindergarten/primary school teacher taught: If you have nothing nice to say, zip it <3

Not just yet! I’m currently going through proofreading the PDF zines, so that’s taking up a lot of my time, but as soon as I can get through most of that (please remember this zine is like... 220+ pages), we can start sending out the digital versions, which in turn will give me time to get that interest form made and out to you lovely people either just before or during the early stages of shipping!(Not to be curt to you, I’ve just gotten a few people that are getting on me for things out of my control ;;)

Hi, I sent an email about a refund two weeks ago with my info and haven’t gotten anything back. I also haven’t gotten an email about any forms to fill out!

Yes, we have your email, and I’m sorry that I’ve just gotten around to replying to those that haven’t received any change of address forms or what have you.

As for refunds, that’s being taken care of by Mod Sky, who is currently under her own pressures, which is not my business to disclose. I did notify her about your refund request and she will take care of all refunds as soon as she’s well enough.
