Upcoming Updates and Changes

Hello, it is me, someone who you decided to follow despite (or because of) the fact I write violent fantasy horror-porn taking place in dystopic, monster-infested worlds.

If that is news to you, you may have followed me by accident. In that case, please feel free to stop reading and click Unfollow. You need not subject yourself to this post or to my writing kinks.

If you do know what violent fantasy horror-porn I am talking about, I am writing to apologize for my sudden hiatus starting last summer and to provide an optimistic update on my plans for coming months.

In either case, I wish you good health and a good day scrolling onward. Thank you.

Status of Fics:

I’m very sorry for the lack of updates, in the fics and in my status. Thank you so much to those who have reached out, and I am especially sorry to you for my delayed response.

The good news is that I am now in a much better place, both for writing and in general. Work on writing readers’ requests has been back in full swing since March. Every chapter is fully outlined at last, and the next three chapters are mostly written pending revisions and a few difficult scenes that I plan to beat into submission.

Upcoming Changes: 

Besides continued writing, some minor revisions to early chapters are also under way. Nothing major or worthy of reread, just to improve continuity for new readers.

Other changes include the fact that I will soon limit viewership to existing AO3 accounts. I understand and welcome anonymous comments to minimize your association with my content. Please do not feel pressured to comment under your actual online identity. The goal of this change is more to reduce new passerby traffic where I can.

If there is some reason you cannot get an account to continue reading, I am happy to help if you message me. 

For the Next Months:

After taking a brief breather this May-- to step out of the dystopic setting and write some not-dehumanized characters, for sanity’s sake-- I will go back to updating once summer arrives.

Thank you again to those who are following my fics and who have made AO3 the welcoming place it has been. I hope you are also doing well, and that these new chapters will prove sufficient token of my appreciation.

I am still quite new to Tumblr, but some readers have been kind enough to encourage me to try. Thank you. You know who you are.
