My username- sharedsweets- is a reference to Oda Sakunosuke’s Meoto Zenzai, also known as “Love is Shared Like Sweets,” “Couple’s Sweet Redbean Soup,” and “Marital Relations.”
It was a story Oda-sensei wrote about the life of a shopkeeper and his wife, a geisha, and was later adapted into a film (1955) of the same name. I believe it is worth the watch.
Though “sharedsweets” is a crude simplification of the title, I hope that through my infrequent posts, I can share some of my life’s sweetness to you.
