Ali ibn al Haitham was asked,

"What do you like to do for a good friend?" He replied,

كتمان حديث الخلوة، المؤاساة عند الشدة، إقالة العثرة

Concealing private conversations, comforting in times of distress and hardships, and letting go of small mistakes"

Why do people who cheat succeed in life, while who work hard and refuse to cheat, find life so difficult?please tell me im depressed because i just lost my job !

The greatest trial a person can face these days is that wrongdoing is everywhere and always seems to be winning.

Your colleague who cheats scores higher than you.

The liar is doing well, while the honest person who fears God is struggling.

Nudity, vulgarity, and scandals are now gaining fame and millions, while respectful and meaningful content has no audience!

No one will succeed except those who understand why they are here in this world and that any worldly gain at the expense of your morals and faith is worthless.

Allah said : “أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آَمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ “

'Do people think they will be left alone after saying “We believe” without being tested?

And said:” وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ”

But if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah encompasses all that they do."

Imam al-Khattaabi said:

This may refer to their similarity as regards good or evil, righteousness or corruption. Good people are inclined towards other good people, and evil people are similarly inclined towards other evil people. Souls feel affinity with others according to the nature in which they were created, good or evil.
