MOVIE REVIEW #2.

La La Land. So here’s the thing. At first, I didn’t necessarily like it. I loved the soundtrack, and Emma’s acting, and the colors, and the cinematography and all the jazz. All that was amazing. But just the plot itself didn’t do much for me. Or maybe it was just their love story. Or maybe the fact that I’m not a big fan of Ryan Gosling, AT ALL. I think he is waaaaaaaaay overrated. He kind of ruined it for me. But now, it’s been kind of growing on me. *SPOILER* I like the fact that they don’t end up together. It makes it realistic. I was just confused by the scene where it shows how their lives ended up being without each other but then it shows how it would be if they did end up together but then it went back and I was just like whaaaaaaat. Lol. I’m still not saying it’s one of my faves, but I’d definitely recommend watching it. Even if just for Emma. She’s amazing.

Not a believer in all the sign stuff but I just love all the descriptions.

Virgo: the smell of paint. The touch of silky pajamas. The taste of fruit. The sound of a pencil against paper. The sight of a pile of blankets to curl up in to watch a movie.

Libra: the smell of clean sheets. The touch of a warm bath. The taste of a shared dessert. The sound of your favorite show muffled while you fall asleep. The sight of flowers in a vase by the window.

Scorpio: the smell of vanilla. The touch of a loved one asleep against you. The taste of salted chocolates. The sound of a cat purring. The sight of a fireplace in the night.

Sagittarius: the smell of firewood. The touch of your animal rubbing against your leg. The taste of warm tea. The sound of your favorite book being read aloud. The sight of art being sprayed on the side of a building.

Capricorn: the smell of mint. The touch of a pile of quilts wrapped around you. The taste of a milkshake. The crackling sound of a record player right before it goes off. The sight of your loved ones crammed into a car for a road trip.

Aquarius: the smell of a well loved book. The touch of someone doing your makeup. The taste of icecream out of the carton. The sound of someone bouncing onto your bed. The sight of friends dancing around like nobody is watching.

Movie Review #1.

First movie review is GREASE! This was my first time watching it, and I loved it! Amazing soundtrack, obviously! There wasn’t any big conflict or event that was going on, it was more just about their last year in high school and all their little events and hang-outs. Which I liked. It was nice and simple. Besides the musical numbers. Ah, “Greased Lightnin’” was a lot of fun to watch. One of my faves. And obviously, the movie was about Danny and Sandy’s romance. Which was cute and all. I liked Danny but, Kenickie was who I fell in love with! Super hot. Love the whole bad-boy, greaser thing. Why I’m a HUGE fan of The Outsiders. And I love that movie for other reasons too, of course, but all those greasers is definitely a plus. Anyways, loved Grease. I would give it a solid 8/10.

FIRST POST!

Okay so here is my FIRST BLOG POST EVEEEEEEEEEER! Feels kinda weird, like I’m talking to myself. Lol. It’s gonna take me a while to start posting the really intimate stuff on here but I’ll get there. Don’t worry ;) Oh god, now I’m flirting on my post. OOOOOOOOkay, back to basics. So, my blog is actually gonna be a whole combo of things. Thoughts, feelings, pictures, videos. But majority will be movie reviews! I actually got this idea from a coworker so thank you Shay! Basically, I have a list of, oh I don’t know, probably over 400 movies. Some I have seen a while ago and just want to re-watch because I’ve forgotten almost everything. But majority of them, I have never seen. There’s a ton of classics on there and when I tell people I’ve never seen this or that movie they give me a look as if I’m crazy. So, I decided to start on that list so I can be accepted by society again. I got my Firestick jail broken so I can watch all the movies for free so I’m ready! LET’S DO THIS. I can’t put a certain timeline for how often the reviews will be. It might be a few times a week, or just a few times a month. I watch movies whenever I have free time, but I also like to watch TV shows so I switch off between the two. I’ll probably do reviews on the TV shows as well. Keep in mind, there will be spoilers! But I’ll warn you ahead of time. These “reviews” will be mostly me just venting about what I love or hate about the film so they might get pretty long. :) Okay, here we go!
