i really hate when ppl are like ‘D/amien and H/elena are bruces real kids!!!’ bc theyre just his bio ones… and half the time he wasnt there for either of then. S/elena gives H/elena to the bertin/elli’s to be raised so she’ll be safe. Bruce didn’t even know Damien existed (but I 100000% am sure G/unn is gonna use the canonical bruce being SA’d when D/amien was conceived, then probably romanticize it, given his history of insulting dick for being SA’d and thinking Stephanie’s hot because she’s ‘be easy’ to manipulate. sure dude, sure.) until dam/ien was 11-13 years old. In most universes he doesn’t even find out about H/elena. a pretty huge contrast to adopting Dick at 8 years old, and dick only leaving around 18 bc hes pissed off at bruce, but comes back later on. Or J/ason being 9-11 when he’s adopted, and bruces biggest emotional turmoil when he ‘dies’. Tim had his birth fam too, but was around 8 when he outsmarted bruce and dick, and weaseled his way in, and when his parents do die he’s already been treated as Bruce’s son. All of the younger batfam are bruces children, and he’d kick your ass for claiming otherwise. It doesn’t matter if they’re genetically his or not, he loves them all the same. even when jason comes back and is a lil murderer now, bruce STILL loves him the same. ‘bio family is real family’ is bs esp when it comes to bruce ‘adopt everyone’ wayne. he’s their dad, and writing them off all the time is fucking annoying.

honestly the saddest thing to me is that heisy was the ‘youngest’ of the siblings for years until donna (and she was turned in the 90s so for less than 30 years shes been the youngest) and heis was moms favorite basically since he was turned, the favorite youngest child, and then… a new youngest comes in and hes still the favorite, and shes basically an afterthought
