I actually do feel like the "unemployed friend on a Tuesday" meme actually helps de-stigmatize unemployment because it frequently affirms that when you don't have a job you're more likely to be getting up to some weird shit rather than just lazing around. But I also feel like the unemployed friend is frequently up to some random shit because there's a whole pile of miscellaneous life tasks that full-time employment keeps people from. The unemployed friend is helping their cousin move, or babysitting, or checking in with a neighbor with mobility issues. The unemployed friend is a walking thesis on the inflexibility of our current labor landscape and just how much work exists outside of work.

It's such a pain to be a perfectionist whilst also being new at something, you try to fret over every detail but aren't experienced enough to actually achieve it so you just stop making progress. Gotta work on the fundamentals, but it's satisfying to see results regardless. There's some lighting artifacts from low render settings. I know EEVEE is faster but I love path-traced lighting too much to give up Cycles.

This is Dog, my DnD character I've had survive for a few years now. Circle of Stars Druid, Kalashtar, healing focused, and I've mostly spec'd into Wisdom so she can persuade people to not try to kill her, as her CON sucks. Using some of Crashsune's base textures from Lovechan so I'm tagging them again (I don't know their pronouns I'm sorry) but yeah, things have been going well. I can't stop futzing over the texture sheet, but I'll have a rig done soon. Then a small animation, then another character.

I was genuinely homophobic before I went to college. Now I'm bisexual, polyamorous, and openly gender non-conforming. Learning about the world and the people in it changes you. Hell I saw people lose faith in God mid-lecture in Religious Studies. "Wait, Christianity is based off of the Jews religion?!" -actual statement from a gal at University. It was crazy stuff.

I took a modelling and rigging course made by CrashsuneAcademy on Youtube and it only took a couple of days. I didn't follow the animation video since it uses a different model, but I flubbed it well enough.
