ceding any ground on the "trans athletes debate" fundamentally requires denying trans people's reality because the debate is nothing if you think trans people are the gender they say they are.

"trans women have an advantage over cis women!" even if that were true, who cares. they're women, so they can play in women's sports. any ensuing consequences (if any) are a result of gender segregated sports being a stupid idea.
