HANNIBAL STARTERS | ACCEPTING
"IS THAT A CONFESSION, DETECTIVE?" mike asked, looking up at dan as they ate their sandwiches on the steps of the courthouse.
"IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL, I'LL PROSECUTE. YOU KNOW ME. I'M RUTHLESS." he winks at dan before laughing and adjusting the coat he wears. "THESE SANDWICHES TASTE WEIRD TO YOU?"

HANNIBAL STARTERS | ACCEPTING
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT?" he asked, looking down at her with parted lips. his eyes search hers, and he plays back the memory of their kiss. she'd leaned up her her tiptoes and kissed him. it wasn't a particularly passionate kiss β more chaste than anything. however, he'd welcomed it. he would even welcome more.
"STILL, YOU SATISFIED NOW, MISS WINTERS?"

NBCβs HANNIBAL SEASON ONE SENTENCE STARTERS
β Everyone has thought about killing someone, one way or another. β
β I imagine what you see and learn touches everything else in your mind. β
β Donβt psychoanalyze me. You wonβt like me when Iβm psychoanalyzed. β
β I donβt find you that interesting. β
β Last time he sent me to a dark place I brought something back. β
β Youβve been terribly rude. Whatβs to be done about that? β
β Did you really feel so bad because killing him felt so good? β
β Killing must feel good to God, tooβ¦ He does it all the time, and are we not created in His image? β
β It isnβt very smart to piss off a guy who thinks about killing people for a living. β
β So killing somebody, even if you have to do it, it feels that bad? β
β You beginning to appreciate my lack of sympathy? β
β Abandonment requires expectation. β
β Passionβs good. Gets blood pumping. β
β Human emotions are a gift from our animal ancestors. Cruelty is a gift humanity has given itself. β
β Itβs getting harder and harder to make myself look. β
β Itβs a really very dull story, though, isnβt it? The ending is always the same, and that same is that it ends. β
β I didnβt count on changing as much as I did. β
β I can give you the majesty of your becoming. β
β The effect I was hoping to have was her death. Mission accomplished. β
β Here we are. A bunch of psychopaths helping each other out. β
β Words are living things. They have personality, point of view, agenda. β
β Being alone has a dull ache to it, doesnβt it? β
β I see enough of you to see the truth of you. β
β Psychopaths are not crazy. Theyβre fully aware of what they do and the consequences of those actions. β
β You spend a lot of time building walls. Itβs natural to see if someone is clever enough to climb over them. β
β Itβs nice when someone sees us. Or has the ability to see us. β
β I was worried you were dead. β
β I feel like I have dragged you into my world. β
β I donβt care about the lives you save; I care about your life, and your life is separating from reality. β
β You didnβt secure your legacy ; You murdered it. β
β Insane isnβt really black or white, is it? β
β We can tell no one. What we are doing here is the right thing. β
β Everybody decides their own versions of the truth. β
β I know what monsters are. Youβre a victim. β
β You must overcome these delusions that are disguising your reality. β
β I feel like Iβm fading. β
β Stability requires strong foundations. My moorings are built on sand. β
β I know what kind of crazy I am and this is not that kind of crazy. β
β I may be crazy, but you look ill. β
β I feel like hell. Actually, no, I feel, uh, fluid, like Iβm spilling. β
β I feel like Iβm losing my mind. I-I donβt know whatβs real. β
β I donβt know if I will ever be myself again. I donβt know if Iβve got any βselfβ left over. β
β Madness can be a medicine for the modern world. β
β This wasnβt supposed to be my life. β
β Some places are stained now. Some people too. I know I am. β
β I was curious what would happen. β
β Iβm sorry I couldnβt protect you in this life. β
β I thought I would get better. β
β I could use a good scream. I can feel one perched under my chin. β
β Guess you dodged a bullet with me. β
β I know who I am. But I am not so sure that I know who you are anymore. β
β I am who Iβve always been. The scales have just fallen from my eyes. β
β You know, in my time Iβve seen people broken by the world. Iβve seen them broken in all kinds of hideous and offhanded ways, but never like this. β
