"excuse me, monsieur, i didn't see you there." //@chxrmingly
Marius startled at the voice bringing him out of his thoughts. He had not noticed the person who had bumped into him. "It is not a problem at all"

Marius nodded, noticing the slip of the tongue but ignoring it. He ignored Enjolras closing his curtains, he moved to his kitchen, putting the kettle on to boil water for a cup of tea. He leaned against the counter, facing Enjolras in the armchair. "Merely helping a friend, anyone would do the same, mon ami."
“Can I hide here for a few minutes?”
Marius turned to the voice, lost in his own world he hasn’t noticed Enjolras enter his apartment. “Oui…. What, pray tell, are you hiding from?”

Marius was slightly taken aback, he fought to keep the expressions off his face. He dropped his hand dropping by his side. "Ponine. Why do you think I am the reason?" @itshineslikesilver
“How did you find me?”
Marius went to reach out to Eponine, his hand falling short by an arms length. “I will always find you.”

Marius just stared at Enjolras for a moment, before nodding, accepting what the man had said, it was easier than questioning Enjolras in this case. "What makes you think that this former lover will not come seek you out at my humble abode?" Marius asked, a smirk finding its way across his face. @marblefacegoldenheart

"Inspector.... Believe me, I am not your target here..." Marius dropped the torch, his hands in front of him, as if to hold Javert off. "A man shoved this torch in my hand and run off in that direction" He pointed to where the mysterious man had run. "This I swear to you. I swear by the stars."
"Okay... I know this looks bad" Marius stared at the Inspector, his eyes wide at his disbelief that he had such bad luck
Javert eyed Marius, a scowl quickly finding it’s way on to his face.“You’re absolutely correct.” The Inspector replied flatly, his eyes glancing between the torch in Marius’ hand and the building that had been set alight just feet away from them. What the Inspector had not seen beforehand was a man shoving the torch into Marius’ hand and making a break for it. So, indeed, this was a quite terrible situation for Marius.

"I am certain, let us go." His fingers circled hers and pulled towards the door, making sure to close it quietly as to not disturb nor alert his friends. He stepped into the cool night air, the chill hitting his face like a slap of water, refreshing and shocking at the same time. He looked down at Eponine, wondering if she was cold. He shrugged his coat off, placing it over her shoulders. @itshineslikesilver
"Quiet! Someone’s going to hear.” Marius shushed her, he had dragged her away from the meeting and upstairs into the corridor.
As Marius dragged her away, Eponine giggled. “Don’t you worry, Monsieur. No one was paying attention to my ramblings, I promise you.”

Marius followed Grantaire to the door hesitantly, watching the people outside on the street warily. If a 'Good Samaritan' decided to report the obviously injured, bloody men to the police they were going to have some issues. He kept an eye warily on the street, turning to focus on Grantaire. "Mon ami, how on earth are we going to get our friends out of jail if they are, indeed, in there?" ifidie-idiewithyou

Marius shrugged, not really caring if his friends would be upset or not. Enjolras and Grantaire would have already noticed he was missing, he may as well stay absent. "Let us go, they do not need me here today." He offered her his hand, planning to whisk her through the back door. itshineslikesilver

Marius smiled at her, stroking her cheek. "You are perfect to me mon amour. You may now be perfect, but to me, oui, you are perfect." itshineslikesilver

Marius leaned back, his arms still around her. He moved one hand up to her chin, tilting it up. "It is not I that is perfect..." He stroked her cheek with his thumb, marveling at the softness. itshineslikesilver

but you’re not singing to me.
Darling, we don’t have long,
before we finish the melody.”

Marius couldn't contain his snicker any longer, a grin breaking across his face. "Mon ami I don't think he will find it that amusing!" "Do you think he has an owner?" ifidie-idiewithyou
"Tell me you didn't steal someone's dog" Marius looked down at Grantaire, narrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
“I didn’t steal him Marius, for your information he followed me here.”

Marius nodded, accepting what Grantaire had said. "Well thank God there are still some good people in the world." He turned towards the door, wondering if this was the safest place to be. "We should try and find everyone else... Do you have any ideas mon ami?" ifidie-idiewithyou

Marius walked over to Grantaire, squatting at his side. "I have no idea my friend, I came here to look." He looked around, his eyes scanning the scene for any clues. "Where have you come from?" ifidie-idiewithyou
