Siri...talk to me pleeze....

So I just saw the ad for that movie “Her” with Joaquin Phoenix, how he’s in love with the voice of his OS. How does he do that? I cant get Siri to answer me half the time. I even did a sex change on her to him and he does understand me a little better. But a lot of times he misunderstands or ignores me. I do like his attitude better, he seems like a real nice guy and I like that he doesn’t have a low mellifluous announcer kind of voice…that would be intimidating! So is “Her” and android version? If so I’m really disappointed and a little jealous…I hate to think of getting an android phone… But I can tell you that every once in a while Siri does get off a good one: one time at lunch we were playing with Siri and I asked her “What is the meaning of life? and she (this was before the sex change) said: "I Kant tell you, ha ha” So we know that Siri has dabbled in the German philosophers. Perhaps some day we will have the Uber-Siri and she will trade flirtatious philosophical bon mots while she is giving directions to the nearest gas station. I Kant hardly wait.

Almost in a cave, but I like it...

Kind of bummed, cuz we can't watch the Packers/Chargers game. No cable. Ever since we switched from analog to digital we lost the Fox and NBC channels. Not the biggest foot ball fan, but I do have cozy memories of the Vikes playing in snow storms usually some glitzy but not weather hardened team like th Cowboys or the Rams. Really liked it when you could hardly see the game but for all that snow flying. Suffer you!! Ha! So do you think we are I the pre twilight days of the Football? Less kids going out for it in schools. The NFL seems unwilling to enforce rules meant to protect from serious head trauma. The fans really like to see the rough stuff. I am not a fan, so I am hard presses to understand why finesse and pure athleticism can't be held higher than the rough stuff. Like girls hockey vs boys hockey. boys hockey game: full stands, rough play, some fights. Girls hockey: light crowd, hard play, but no fights. "I guess you could say I'm a dreamer." Bundle up my fellow Midwesterners, screw vanity, be warm, stay safe!
