Mardi Gras is a busy time of year! My friend is in Muses and I've been helping make shoes. These are some of the ones I made: Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I Made Throws for the Chewbaccus Parade.

I've been hard at work wrapping up my throws for Chewbaccus! My subkrewe is Sailor Moon-themed, so all our throws are about Sailor Moon. 🌙💖🌙💖🌙 The top photo is of bandolier blocks I made for each character and the bottom photo is of magnets I made and doubloons I painted. I made several hundred of each.

I Made Muffins.

Whole wheat muffins with apples, carrots, oats, sunflower seeds, and rum-soaked raisins.

I Made a Necklace.

Teal-colored paper beads, hand-rolled from suminagashi prints I made last week, alternated with gold Miyuki seed beads. Birthday present for my mom.

I Made Suminagashi.

Suminagashi is a Japanese technique for marbling paper with ink (traditionally calligraphy ink). I will turn these into a necklace for my mom.

I Knit a Scarf.

Two-color brioche stitch with i-cord selvedge.

I Made A Magic Wand.

I made it from a bamboo dowel and 3 wood stars that I glued together. Painted silver with glitter embellishment.

The blue beads are hand-rolled paperbeads that I made from suminagashi prints that I also made.
