Hello PMD fans of tumblr!

I'm thinking of starting a project to Voice Act the story of Explorers of Sky, and am looking for more people to join!

No prior experience is needed. This is a passion project made for fun, by fans! You also don't have to have played the game before to join, though please be aware there may be spoilers in the server!

The rules for joining are just as follows

You must be over 18+, just as I'd prefer to work with fellow adults.

Please be anti-harassment, harassing people does next to nothing to solve problems and I'd hate for personal disagreements to stop this project in its tracks.

After that, if this sounds interesting to you, leave a reply, message or ask expressing your interest, or a reblog doing the same*, and if I believe you'd be a fit for the project I'll send you the discord server link where we'll be coordinating our efforts!

ever think about how fucking funny birth by sleep is from riku’s perspective. imagine being like four years old playing at the playground with your friend. suddenly someone you’ve never seen before appears. you ask him what he’s up to and after like very little prompting he gets super deep and then pulls a giant fuck-off key out of nowhere and makes you hold it and says some kinda weird chant and then tells you to tell no one what just happened. you’re like “ok” because you are four but like that had to have been weird. then later in the day another person you’ve never seen before literally drops down in front of you and your friend. you autism stare at each other silently until she turns to your best friend and says “hey if your buddy ever turns evil, make him better ok” and then also fucking dips. that night your friend cries for no reason, and you’re like “maybe someone else is sad and you got those feelings or smth” and he then closes his eyes and is like “oh ok i fixed it” and then you go into town and find out a whole third-ass person dropped from the sky, except this one is your age and has amnesia. you forget literally all of that because you are four but then when you’re like seventeen or eighteen you’re chilling with your new dad mickey mouse and then it turns out those two people you met on the island have been lost in the void since you saw them last and you have to drag their asses back out or the world is fucking doomed

Honestly, Wake Me Up When September Ends feels like a very Lu Guang post-time loop hell song to me, to an extent. it's impossible to separate that song from what it was written about but still dhskdhdkg.

I feel like he probably gets spikes of anxiety, panic, and is generally really depressed in September every year, even after Cheng Xiaoshi is saved (they'll save him. trust). The association is just too much for him; He almost wishes he could just sleep through the entire month.

Even as it fades into distant memories, even as he heals, the scar of what was overwritten remains. hbwe...

one of my all time favorite examples of visual storytelling is in Omori wrt: Kel and Aubrey's friendship. both in headspace and in the real world, we see them constantly bicker and argue, but in the photos Basil takes, it's clear they really do enjoy each other's company.

Like here, where it seems like she's laughing super hard at something Kel is saying. Literally head on desk hunched over in laughter.

And the way they both cling onto each other at times

I just think it's really sweet, being shown how much they always cared about each other. They might get on each other's nerves, especially after so much baggage. But in the end, they're still friends.
