i love when louis leans into more rock-n-roll, upbeat and energetic songs because i think it’s where he shines the most, but there’s something always gut-wretching when he performs his ballads or slower songs. which’s why, although songs like common people aren’t my most streamed ones, i think it’s incredible when he allows his voice to do rely heavily on emotion because it’s something he’s really good at
