"Good evening, darlings, and welcome to the show~!" the bot cheered from his seat. "My name is "Cathode" Gamma Ray, and I'll be your host for the night."

Hello! Welcome to my Metal Cardbot OC RP Blog! You can call me Mack :D.

I'll be straightforward here, I do NOT know much about Metal Cardbots. I mostly wanted to join in since my boyfriend (Gabe, you might'a heard of him) seemed excited at the prospect of having our OCs interact ^^.

That said, I'm okay with interacting with Canon and OC characters! I've done enough research to understand the fundamentals of the lore, and in Cathode's case, he wouldn't know much- and if he did, would pretend he didn't- about any canon characters nor their groups. Therefore, it'd be like meeting someone new (for the most part) every time.

Boundaries are simple. Don't be an actual jerk (like OOC, in-character is fine lmao), no NSFW advances, no proshippers, usual DNI stuff, etc. I am very firm about my boundaries and if they are crossed, after a first warning, I will simply block you :). I use the block button freely!

Now for some information on Cathode:

"Cathode" Gamma Ray was created under the name Gamma Ray (he/they pronouns). Their original purpose had been for stealth, recon, and similar missions. That sort of life made him unhappy- greatly so-, but he hadn't the heart to defect 'till sometime after the exploding of Machina. In the chaos after arriving to Earth, he'd fashion an escape pod into his own personal 'radio-ship' for broadcasting a radio show. Admittedly, he'd been inspired by the human culture of radio, talk shows, and music. Eventually this venture evolved into a fully-expanded television-broadcasting Spaceship known as "Gamma Station Stellar". He runs a talk show from it, whilst still maintaining the radio show. Gamma Ray would cast aside his old name in favor of the name "Cathode", his stage name. He prefers to go by Cathode or a nickname based on it. Think of Gamma Ray as a deadname.

He doesn't have a traditional 'weapon' per-se, but he's built with a few special tricks up his sleeve. His frame has many pieces made of screens. For his original purpose, they were for camouflage and slight visual hypnosis. Now they just use them to be flashy and colorful. He'd also been made with the ability to hijack airwaves, so he's able to listen to radio signals, track them, etc. I don't have a full reference for him yet, but his alt-mode would be a cephalopod of some kind. Like a squid or cuttlefish :D.
