my take on the miss piggy/morticia addams sexywoman poll is that while morticia would lose gracefully, miss piggy would 1000% attempt murder over the label and morticia would respect her for it. then theyd go out for tea and gossip together

When my mother gets into facebook fights with her childhood friends who grew up to be racists, she passive-aggressively fucks with them by making a donation to a local refugee assistance organization in the name of their immigrant grandmothers, a donation large enough that they get a card from the organization saying so.   She passive aggressively fucks with the same demographic of friends who #bluelivesmatter by commenting with details about the various petty crimes they committed together as teens, e.g. “Wow Joey, where was all the respect for blue lives when we hotboxed your uncle’s patrol car?” 

And obviously both these approaches are specific to former juvenile delinquent turned UMC babyboomer but it feel still inspirational in that we can all find our own chaotic good pettiness niche.

something ive noticed recently especially on tiktok is people seem to hate when writers use descriptors like I saw comments going "if they use he growls, im OUT!" and guys thats literally..thats just writing. Youre MEANT to describe it! "his eyes hardened" you mean to tell me youve never seen someone be verbally punched in the gut and just lock down, glaring...youve never heard anyone yell hard enough that its a rumble in their chest. youve never felt someones hands brush, just ever so lightly against your palm and that spark happens. Not the electric shock feeling but that sudden shock that youre real. that youre alive and someone is touching you.

yeah sometimes the curtains are blue just because the author needed a colour but sometimes the curtains are blue because its the authors favourite colour or theyre blue because bluebells are their significant others favourite colours, maybe the curtains arent blue but the character sees them as blue.

if you dont want descriptive writing...youre not gonna read in general. Media literacy or whatever that "the curtains are just blue." trent is, its activity ruining writing for people.

for anyone thats following me that writes and sees all of this. your fics dont need to be 10 thousand words long to be worthy, you dont have to just stick to said all the time, the curtains are whatever colour that you decide to stick on the paintbrush

Gaga and Kesha and Miley and Halsey are right there. Rina Sawayama and Hayley Kiyoko and Rebecca Black and Kehlani and Victoria Monét and Miya Folick if you're willing to get slightly less top 100. Janelle and Demi for them nonbinary takes on liking girls. like what are we doing here. like I'm not even saying you can't enjoy Taylor but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.
