hi sorry to keep asking for help but I keep applying to jobs and hearing nothing back from them. I have bills to pay + I have my sister and her family to help out with things (groceries, cleaning) while I live here for the foreseeable future. I'm still waiting to hear back from any of the 6 places I applied to but until then I have to keep e-begging, as it were. anything helps, reblogs appreciated.

Sami's Last Dream: Escaping the Hell of Gaza in Search of Safety

In Gaza, where life has become nothing more than a fight for survival, Sami and His Family are living a never-ending nightmare. Every new day brings more destruction and fear, and what once was a safe home for them has turned into rubble and painful memories.

Their house collapsed entirely before their eyes. The sound of the explosion that destroyed everything, the relentless scene of devastation, and the tears of his children that have not stopped, have all become a constant reality in Sami's life. His three children—Jud, Lin, and Misk—clung to their mother in the corner of the tent that has become their only refuge. But even this tent cannot protect them from the scorching summer heat or the bitter winter cold. ️

Sami has lost everything. The shop that was their only source of income is gone, and now he stands powerless, watching his family suffer, unable to do anything for them. The mother tries to hide her tears, fearing she might break down in front of her children, and the siblings share this pain without knowing when it will end.

Amid all this pain, Sami clings to one last dream—a dream that seems distant but is all he has left. He wants to take his family far away from this hell, to find a safe place where his children can sleep without the fear of bombings, where they can learn and grow without the scars of war. He wants to see his children smile again, to give them a chance at a life stolen from them by the war.

But even this simple dream comes with great challenges. The cost of traveling through the Rafah border crossing is exorbitant—$5,000 per adult and $3,000 per child. With seven family members, these costs are more than just numbers; they are a massive hurdle that Sami cannot overcome alone.

Additionally, there are many other expenses such as securing housing, food, and medical care after leaving Gaza, making the situation even more difficult.

Today, Sami and his family stand on the edge of despair. They need your help now more than ever. Every donation, no matter how small, can be a step towards realizing Sami's last dream—to take his family to a place far from this tragedy. A place where they can start anew, and live with dignity and safety. ✨

Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless

Hello Dear,

We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalid’s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.

Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.

Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.

We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. RENT + UTILITY AID!!!

Friday, September 20th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay off my rent arrears and keep my utilities on!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However I am in desperate need of that kindness again, as I couldn't pay off my rent last month due to my bills and late fees, and I received a letter today stating that I am £230.04 in arrears. I've already contacted them and they've told me to pay whatever I can but I don't have any funds to do so and to make things worse, my utilities are on their emergency credit of £4.99. I don't receive my disability & welfare until the 30th and urgently need help.

I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.
