Elder Scrolls Lore: Names

I recently realized that I have been ignorant of the names of other races besides those of the Dark Elves/Dunmer and the Argonians/Saxhleel. I named characters as I wished, and looking back on them now, I realize the names I chose were pretty stereotypical and, frankly, rude in the world of Elder Scrolls.

For instance, I named my Khajiit character “Miranjri” which sounds Khajiit-like, but it’s not an actual name a Khajiit would have. In fact, I’m pretty sure that name is completely meaningless to the Khajiit.

So, as a present for my now 1,000 followers, I’m starting a series of posts about the lore-friendly rules to go by when naming your characters. Starting with the Khajiit, I’ll have a post for each race and I’ll link each post to this one as I go. The series will also be tagged #eslorenames. I hope you enjoy. :)

Anyways, a while back on IG I joined a Skyrim doll collab and made Miraak! Which was fun! But sculpting the mask in a short time frame was a bit stressful, and now I have to fix it or resculpt it because I broke a piece off while taking pictures lol

I do have a doll specific blog ( @burdolls ) but I don’t post there much atm.

Skyrim scenery: Twilight in the Rift

Yasss, I feel so robbed when it comes to the song in Skyrim. I feel there would be so much more songs, maybe there would be new song after some important quest. Maybe one day the modders will make a mod like this?

As someone who knows a lot about like celtic folk songs and Irish folk…there needs to be more bard songs in Skyrim. I need Wild Rover, I need songs about getting drunk, I need more songs about hating the empire. Songs about the land, songs that came from the Altmorans travelling to Skyrim.

It would also be awesome if there were songs from different provinces, GOD
