As a child, Hannah Simpson got angry when her parents told her she couldn’t have a pony, so she started riding a cow instead. With no formal training, she taught her pet cow, Lilac, to jump, climb over fallen trees, and most importantly, not to buck her off. Source

In India, it is usually customary for the future husband’s family to see the girl, usually her behavior and her cooking abilities. In this video the father of the bride wants to see if the man has the same abilities that his daughter possesses. Why should the women be expected to cook and take care of the house? He wanted his daughter to get to know the man she was going to marry. The daughter didn’t want to adhere to what was expected of her. People need to change their way of thinking, it’s not about focusing on what a girl can give to a marriage but also what a man can give, put effort in a marriage. Full video here (x)

Narrated Mujahid رحمه الله: `Abdullah bin `Umar رضي الله عنه said, “Allah’s Messenger ﷺ took hold of my shoulder and said, ‘Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveller.” The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنه used to say, “If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.” [Sahih Bukhari: Book 81, Hadith 5]
