Scrolling through the Kate Stewart tag and observing the Kate x Osgood fans and the Kate x Christopher fans posting their theories, fanfics, screen caps, and occasional fighting is so amusing because I have come to realize after diving into the fics and posts in the Kate Stewart fandom that I belong in neither of those camps. I have come to realize that I am a Kate x Eleven shipper 😅
(Because she kissed him on the cheeks that ONE TIME in The Power of Three and it melted my heart. Because I am fascinated by the potentially complicated Oedipal dynamics (and angst) of Kate crushing on her father’s alien bestie who wears the face of a man decades her junior but is a parent-figure to her. Because I am obsessed with the way Eleven says “a kiss from a Lethbridge-Stewart” and the cute little smile she gives him in response.)
