Brave. Strong. Intellectual.

The girl with the golden hair,

Distant, resourceful, hopeful

For the day to carry on

she suddenly thinks,

Pass me by with your stormy weather and shaky winds.

Pass me by with blazing sun and rays that burn my skin.

Pass me by with the drops of rain that drench my clothes,

Soaked all the way through.

Pass me by with stories of old for I am ready for new.

A new day to shine, a new sun to dawn, a new idea to bring forth, to unite the broken,

To heal the soul, to bring health to the body, to take back the hand of time with childlike simplicity,

to bring laughter back to my heart, to tell the grave to hang on because I still have life to be lived on.

Pass me by with this bad song, with heartbreaking news, with desire to do wrong.

Pass me by as I sail on to a better place, to a better land, to a better way.

Erica and Devin

Opening Scene: Erica working at Hobby Lobby (floor manager). Erica  - “Katherine we need you to re-stock the autumn summerset leaves on isle 12.” Katherine fires back, “Yup on it!” Erica lingers over to the scarecrow costumes thumbs through counting how many are left on the floor, as her best friend Mira comes over and speaks in a fake announcer voice, “And now we’re back live with Erica Delamore on channel 6 news here in Seaside Harvest, Erica what do you have for us?” Mira passes the imaginary mic over to Erica and Erica joking pushes her hand away. “Hey Mira Cat, how are you doing?” Mira – You know just tryna make it through another makes zzz’s sound, Oh im sorry almost fell asleep where was I oh yeah boring Tuesday at the Lobby” Erica – “ haha the Lobby why you always have to make everything sound like a club,” the Lobby” when it’s a craft store. Mira - Well you know how I do hah hah So you tell Devin yet? Erica - Tell Devin what? Mira - About the scholarship you applied for to BU? You already know you’re going to get it. Erica – Oh that (looks down feeling nervous) No, I haven’t told him you know how he gets especially since he has our whole lives planned out…ughhh help! Mira – Look if I was you id leave him a sticky note in the mirror and dip out. I would say come with me, but you know that’d be the first place he’d look. Erica – *Under her breath* Well glad I’m not you Yeah it’s something I have to break to him gently like real gently, maybe cook him a nice dinner and tell him then.. Mira – A nice dinner? Chic don’t you think he’ll misinterpret that as something else *Mira says with a smirk* Erica – I’m done Erica – Back to work babe I’ll figure something out. Mira – Mmmhhmm sure you will later chic, see you tonight at Sammie’s. Erica – See ya.
