The people have spoken and I will therefore elaborate. Firstly, spoilers for chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune and Season 2 of Dungeons and Daddies.
For those of you unaware Scary Marlowe is a goth punk seeker of darkness teenage girl who is struggling a lot in a new transition of her life where her mother has married a new man. This ends up leading her right into the arms of her step-great grandfather, Willy Stampler. Rat bastard man I fucking hate him. In her time working for Willy she does a lot of things she comes to later regret, including getting her vice principal killed. Her friends get really pissed at her for essentially trying to sabotage their attempts to save the world before eventually coming around and forgiving her. She goes on to betray Willy, makes up with her step father, and runs through fire. She is my favorite character from season two.
Kris Dreemurr is the only human in a town full of monsters. They are generally considered the weird kid by most of the people around them. They love the piano. They love their friends. They do not love being possessed by the player but they make do. They are also being manipulated by a parental figure in the form of Carol Holiday, a close family friend of the Dreemurr family.
Kris and Scary are both teenagers who are going through hard times in their lives. They have parents who love them but struggle to understand them which results in them seeking external validation. They also both hate their stepdad/theoretical stepdad. They both have self blame regarding their parents divorce. They both love their friends but have a very hard time expressing that and even do things that actively work against them because of the manipulation they are under. They are both being manipulated by parental figures into doing things that they do not really want to do. They both have lost pieces of themselves in the process of getting stuck in the state they are currently in (Kris losing their autonomy and Scary losing the love she used to have for things like soccer).
Note: A lot of this is based on my interpretation of Kris and Scary. Also this focuses on Scary over the course of season 2 rather then how she ends up.
Kris Dreemurr and Scary Marlow are the same character in different fonts. I will not elaborate (I totally will if asked)

The Prophecy's End
**Spoilers for Chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune**
In the end of chapter 4 after establishing the prophecy as both highly specific and all but guaranteed, Susie learns how the prophecy ends and responds by breaking the glass it was on. Ralsei then has a breakdown, apologizing to her to which she responds by telling him that they are not going to let it happen.
So what is it?
My first immediate thought while playing the game was that they all died. The final tragedy is the heroes all sacrifice themselves for the greater good or something like that. However, after further reflection, I doubt that to be the case. Ralsei, especially in the first chapter, would have been more then willing to throw himself into a pit for the prophecy. Susie's reaction does not seem to line up with that idea either, with lines like "Like something like that would happen" implying that if this prophecy should come to pass they would not get much choice in the matter.
After thinking about it for a bit, I'm almost positive it is about Noelle. First, the prophecy goes at great lengths to mention that Susie falls in love of some form and we can safely assume this is about Noelle. Now this is Susie's darkworld so it's possible that the reason that image is shown a lot is because Susie is thinking about it. It is also possible that the reference to Susie's love is as important as the reference to Lancer calling Ralsei "Toothpaste Boy". That is to say, not at all. However, that being said, Noelle has importance beyond being Susie's love interest in the form of the weird route. With Chapter 4 it is clear that the weird route is not about corrupting and manipulating various characters but rather Noelle specifically. If the weird route is a way to escape the prophecy and get a different ending, the fact that it focuses on Noelle is notable. Especially since the idea is her getting stronger, perhaps strong enough to circumvent her own death.
Beyond this, if the Knight is Dess or Carol, as many have theorized, the idea that it would take Noelle's death to stop them is not far fetched. It would also bring a certain layer of irony if you believe the theory that Carol is doing this in an attempt to bring Dess back, she would lose one daughter in return for the other.
There is one part where Susie asks Ralsei what he knows about Noelle and he only mentions what armors she can equip. His portrait does not indicate any worry or concern surrounding the topic, so maybe it's not about her. Of course, maybe that's why he is apologizing so much after Susie finds out, because he knows he lied.
Granted, we will not know for 100% until we hear it from the game itself. I just thought it was some fun food for thought.

Noelle's Ability to Break the Narrative
This is a little silly, but I was replaying chapter two and the scene where Noelle steps on the tiles that spell out december came up. This is only possible because Noelle is able to jump over the cones that have blocked us several times before. It is an interesting way to subtly show the way that Noelle can do certain things that we cannot and if we could do that it would very much change the narrative. Anyways just a random thought
