Hey guys. If anyone reads this still hi, sorry i completely left for months
So, I haven’t been on this in like 84 years and I’m assuming y’all forgot about me, which is fair, but I just haven’t been in the mood to rp. like at all. and honestly i feel terrible because i should have said something, but I never did because I kept saying “oh, I’ll come back on next week” but that piled up into months, and well... here we are like six months later.
I don’t know if I’m going to archive Sam yet, or if I’m going to try this again, but if you want to reach me, my personal blog is @dis-sasster.
aaand in light of the tumblr protest thing on the 17th, I’m gonna also put my Twitter and Instagram, which is sunsh1ne_sarah
My skype is also symphonic_alchemist, just message me who you are and I’ll respond to you!
So, we’ll see what happens? Again, I feel like an asshat for not even being like “sorry guys I’m gonna go on a hiatus again”, so if you wanna yell at me for not responding, totally justified. (i’m also not upset at myself i’m just kind of like neutral about the whole thing)
Yeah, sorry again, guys. :/

Sam listened intently, taking a sip of his coffee. Hearing about Mel’s childhood was interesting, to say the least. He hadn’t heard from any sort of fairy folk for at least a hundred years, so it was exciting for him to finally meet one again. “Well, nothing is in this world.” He said, chuckling.
He shook back, a smile breaking through. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Mel.” Sam said happily. “That does sound like a very faerie like name.” He said, holding the coffee with both hands, glancing down at it. He knew he had to tell her what he was, and he took in a deep breath. “Are you a faerie? Or are you something else?”

Sam was patient-- he had all the time in the world to wait as Ella tried to sort out her emotions, whether they were what she considered weak or not.
“To be fair, I don’t need as much sleep as you do. Two can get it done quicker, though.” He said, smiling softly. Sam would work himself into exhaustion sometimes, but at least then he could say he deserved the sleep at that point and not just sleeping for leisure.
Once she hugged him, Sam gently wrapped his arms around her and savoring the moment. It wasn’t often he could see her like this, how she could be so sweet knowing full well she could probably rip a man in half if someone else but him saw her as vulnerable as she thought she was.
His eyes locked with hers as she moved in closer, Sam raising an eyebrow in curiosity as she kissed him. His hands found their way to her arms, gently holding her there as he returned it, pressing his lips against hers.
Sam’s was more out of excitement to show affection to her in this form (he never counted smothering her in kisses in his dog form), and he pulled back, just a small amount in case she wanted to walk away afterwards. He was hoping she didn’t, praying he could live in this moment for a time.
★
Acts of Affection: [X]
★ Cooking them their favorite meal and feeding them.
Something was off when Sam went to his apartment that night- he opened the door to the scent of food in the air, walking in and frowning. The door was opened and he simply had to push it open, no keys required. Who was cooking in here, and how the hell did they get in?
He peered around the corner to the kitchen after putting his things down, seeing a very familiar person there, a grin coming to his face.
“Hello, what have we here? I really hope you didn’t break the lock to get in here, luv.”

“The struggle of handlers and those they handle.” Sam said, a wolfish chuckle coming out of him.
He listened intently, a small whine coming out of him once he heard Rosie would be leaving the country. It really wasn’t a small whine, it was actually a long, drawn out whine that made his head droop. He didn’t want Rosie to leave either, but his head popped up and looked at her. “I could keep an eye on her.” He blurted out, tail starting to thump. “The underworld has ways to travel to other countries in the blink of an eye. I’d just need a cemetary and I could keep an eye on her.” He offered. “Her boyfriend? Well, I’d ask her for a day with just the two of you to be together, or just sit down and talk to her.” Sam suggested.
anima-confractum:
shields-grim-reaper:
With his tail wagging a mile a minute behind him, Sam nearly leaped into the car, excitedly sitting down in the seat, tail thumping loudly against the interior.
“And the window down? You do care.” Sammael said, gently pressing his nose to her cheek as a kiss before promptly sticking his head out the window, tongue lolling out of his mouth.
Ella chuckled.
“Of course I do care. Just like I love my wings flying with the wind, I know you’d enjoy the wind against your fur.” She drove for a while, getting stuck in accident traffic as she pursed her lips. She knew that these moments wouldn’t last long. She wasn’t sure how long she had to live with all the spliced DNA in her. It plagued her mind harshly, considering she still had so much to teach her daughter.
“So, how have things been for you lately?” Of course, dummy, ask the oddest question. She mentally noted.
“I appreciate that!” Sam said happily, offering a bark to one of the dogs walking along the street. The dog, of course, yapped back angrily which made Sam chuckle.
Even though he had lived this far, he knew that he wanted to enjoy every moment he could get, even if it meant annoying the dogs in the area every chance he could get.
He pulled his head back into the car, scratching his ear quickly. “I’ve been good. Mostly. Been wanting to wring my handler’s throat after the last mission but we made up last night?” He said, a tiny whine coming out. “We both were angry and tired and we said some things that we didn’t mean. But we’re okay now.” He told her.
“How about you? You doing okay?”

Sam listened intently, drinking his coffee. An eyebrow rose, head tilting slightly. “Now that, that doesn’t happen often.” He said. He was interested by her, and the fact that she was half-faerie. “That must have been an interesting upbringing.” He speculated, leaning in curiously.
He shook back, a smile breaking through. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Mel.” Sam said happily. “That does sound like a very faerie like name.” He said, holding the coffee with both hands, glancing down at it. “Sometimes? I also sometimes go to the store for food. I’m not that picky.” He said, grinning. The second Elliot mentioned chocolate, Sammael couldn’t help but laugh lightly. He hoped he didn’t make it seem like he was laughing at Elliot, but it was cute. “You’re adorable, Elliot. Yes, I can have chocolate. Hellhounds have slightly different rules than most dogs.” He told him, chuckling still.
Elliot flushed happily at the praise so he ducked his head to hide the pink in case Sam thought it was silly. “Do you like this sort of thing? I thought you would, it has a lot of meat stuff and you… Seem like you would like that?” He offered, worried that might be a little offensive.

feathers-and-scales:
“We’re Silver Dragons,” she heaved, “we can’t be poisoned.” She stressed. There was only one sort of poison that could do that and if that was the case she’d be dead by now. Whoever did it was good at sneaking but either didn’t have all the information about her kind or…
“Sam,” she leaned to him, voice barely audible. “I need you to find who did this. They are trying to start something here.” She couldn’t stay awake much longer. The other guard stepped closer to her. They were going to carry her away.
Somewhere else in the city an uninvited guest was disguising themselves into the armour of a guard. They were not quite done yet.
Sammael worriedly looked on, knowing the entire mission had gone terribly wrong the second they walked into this place. An angry red flash in his eyes appeared-- not for her, of course, but for letting it go downhill this quickly.
“Do you want me to bring them in when I find them?” He asked just as quietly and urgently, knowing the guards would be carrying her away. He wanted to make his orders from her clear before he set off. Once they were ready to take her away he backed up, looking out at the entrance again.
Oh, now there was hell to pay in his eyes.

He smiled back, following her to the table and sitting down after she did. “Oh, well I’m glad you asked.” He said, grinning. “Sammael. Call me Sam though, hearing my entire name is something mortals these days aren’t used to.” Sam said, chuckling. “And your name is?” He asked, holding a hand out to shake hers.
His head tilted when she mentioned the darkness around him. That would hinder it to people who were more adept to the supernatural side of life.
“Ah. I can promise you, the darkness around me doesn’t define who I am.” He said, frowning. His hands went down slowly, stuffing them into his pockets. “But to see that darkness around me is something only other supernatural beings can spot, so I take it you aren’t exactly human either, luv.”

He smiled warmly at her, shrugging. “Well at least I get to make it up now, yeah?”
Sam ordered another coffee for himself, letting her order before paying for it. “Yeah, that tends to happen a lot.” He confessed, smiling at the fact she at least understood. “It might have been, yes. That happens to most people when they come in contact with me.”

Sam chuckled as Elliot hid his face. He honestly thought it was cute, even if Elliot was trying his best to hide it. “Yeah, I like savory things most of the time actually.” He said, shrugging. “I mean I am a hellhound, meat is the first option everyone goes to. They aren’t wrong about it, surprisingly.” He explained, offering a smile.
Elliot flushed happily at the praise so he ducked his head to hide the pink in case Sam thought it was silly. “Do you like this sort of thing? I thought you would, it has a lot of meat stuff and you… Seem like you would like that?” He offered, worried that might be a little offensive.

“I do try!” Sam laughed, watching him excitedly look through his cookbooks. When Elliot said he found one he looked it over, giving a smile. “They look amazing. We only really need to buy two or three things, I think, to make this work! Good choice.” Sam said, watching Elliot over the book.
“That sounds like a good afternoon.” Elliot decided, his voice full of sincerity and thanks that Sam was accepting of this and actually seemed to want to sped more time with him. “If you’re not so fussed on sweets then maybe we could make something with lemon so it’s more tart?” He offered, automatically taking Sam’s hand in his excitement.

Sammael glanced towards her, listening intently. “It’s quite alright, I’ll have to apologize for following you into an alley.” He added, a small chuckle coming out. He held the door open for her as they walked in.
“Well, yeah. they usually aren’t fans of creatures of the light.” Sam said, looking up at the selections of coffee. “That sounded weird and ominous, now that I think about it.”

“It’s a start.” He said, smiling brighter. Her light aura didn’t seem as brilliant to look at, just like when you enter a bright room from the darkness. “Of course. I always keep my word.” He told her, letting her walk side-by-side with him as he walked out of the alley and back to the coffee shop where they first encountered each other.
