🔍What are Shiji-Long?

_____Shiji-Long are an original eastern dragon species made by Vashaa. They are also a close species.

🔍Lore

_____Shiji-Long are eastern dragons far older than most civilizations. They are mystical creatures driven by the need to find their soulmate. Shiji-Long can fly without wings and can change their form from anthropomorphic to ferak freely. They come in a lot of shapes and forms, but won't get bigger than one meter while standing. Females are even smaller. Shiji-Long are hatching from egg their parents take along with them for more than a few years. Most of them live for aroung 200 years. Shiji-Long won't die for real though. When they are too old, they transform into a little stone egg themselves, waiting for the right conditions to hatch again. They keep their conscious, but need to go through the stage of growing up again. Babies need around 50 years to reach adulthood. Shiji-Long search their whole life for their mate. They will stay with their partner and adopt one of the partner's colours as mate-markings. The mates stay mostly to themselves when the mating season rolls around. Pairs will only have one offspring per season. If the partner dies these markings won't vanish but rather turn white. A lone Shiji-Long will not choose another partner for their whole lifespan and even in their next one.
