Just a lil photo dump of some of my recent 'old' purchases 💕 2007? deburg penguin triplets, 1988 US Treefellow Owls, and 2006 Father Christmas Marmalade Bear 🐻 the owls also came with extra outfits, so cute!
And then a photo of just how tiny the owls are 🤣 a mom hawthorn mouse, baby wildwood rabbit and dale sheep, and child maple cat for comparison💕
if im remembering correctly, a lot of the lundby stuff fits with calico critters, as they use a scale more common from that era of dollhouses. otherwise it's a hit or miss with 1:12 to 1:16 scales, especially with tall or wide furniture. honestly even the actual calico critter couches seem too small and the houses barely contain 1 furniture set
Part of the Original Families released in 1986, they've had a couple different releases, including a re-release in 2005 that came with sylvanian sized school books. The original Japan release has brown eyes while the others have orange. They are very small, a parent being about standard child height. Each baby also has a unique expression on their face. The Father's name is Aristotle, mother Arabella, and babies Winky, Blinky, and Grumpy. The parents are also teachers!
For some reason the US release renamed the dad Waldo, and the babies as Blinky and Aristotle. The Treefellows are 1 of 3 owl families released, but I believe are the most popular.
This is the US 1988 version, which only came with twins compared to the others with triplets. Mine have cute custom clothes on the babies <3 dad is missing his hat.
