Has pete ever tried/asked to fix the hole in wade’s mouth? (So he can eat w/o making a mess)

Peter never acknowledges the hole in Wade's cheek for fear of coming across as insensitive.

Wade doesn't care but hasn't brought it up yet to see if Pete is ever going to.

It's a battle of wills. It's been 5 years

Spiderman x Deadpool

Pride kisses week two day thirteen : kiss on the neck

Peter sat perched on the roof. The chilly New York air cutting through his suit. The night was boring, and a few low crimes were committed, but nothing exciting. He was hoping to head home soon when he received a text. It was a pic from Wade. He was in his kitchen with a bag containing takeout.

A smile tugged at his lips from below the mask. He didn't respond back, but Wade already knew he was coming. Who could pass on a good meal?

He slipped his phone securely away in his suit. He turned to the next building and shot a web, heading in the direction of Wade's. The air was still biting at him through the suit. It was probably time for an upgrade, but he made it there safely. He swung down to the open window and slid in onto the bed.

He tugged his mask off, taking a moment to warm up. He stood, leaving the room and headed to the kitchen. "Smells good." He voiced, ruffling his flattened hair up.

Wade screeched, jerking around to look at him. "Jesus! There's a front door, man. Why don't you use it or I don't know the key I gave you!"

Peter laughed at the man's rant, one he's heard several times before. "What's the fun in that?"

Wade grumbled, turning back to finish plating their food. They settled on the couch. Peter's legs tucked beneath him. They ate quietly, a random romcom (Wade loved them) playing on the tv.

"She clearly loves him! How can he not see this?" Wade complained, clearly invested.

Peter laughed quietly beside him. He liked seeing this side of Wade. It was nice.

The night grew darker, yet the constant New York chatter continued. Peter's eyes drooped, food long since finished. He slumped further into the couch. Content on sleeping right there.

Wade glanced at him, a soft smile on his lips. He nudged lightly at Peter's side. "C'mon on Petey. Bed is a lot more comfortable. Don't wanna wake with a hurt neck, right?"

Peter mumbled incoherently, slumping further. Wade stifled a laugh. Carefully, he slid his arms under Peter's knees and neck. He carried him with ease to the bedroom, lowering him gently down. He laid next to him, tugging the blankets over them both.

He pressed an innocent kiss to the back of Peter's neck, wrapping an arm around his waist to keep him close. "Night Spidey." He whispered.

Imagine Spiderman though with more spider traits, yeah sure there are fanfics and lots of diff versions of spiderman that has it but it is time to implement it with Deadpool.

Like Deadpool being the only one that knows about his fangs (and venom that only appears when he bites someone like spiders when they eat their prey), tiny hairs (setae) on his hands, feet or stomach that could also be used for defense or even his behavior changing sometimes since some or most are territorial.

Peter also eating insects or other bugs sometimes as a snack, disgusting but when he’s hungry and really tired why not eat one ? Peter also raising his arms on instinct sometimes when he’s threatening his enemies. (may have done it to DP once) It never worked so he’d never do that again.

Just small, tiny little quirks only DP would know because Peter never uses or show em to others, except once when they shared a bed or when they hang and eat together, he just saw Peter’s fangs. If DP does tell others, there’s a mix of opinions about it, some might believe it, some not but also it kinda makes sense. He is Spider-Man, after all.

Do you by any chance have any recommendations for someone who's new to Deadpool comics?

So, this is just my opinion- some fans may disagree 😂,

but if you wanna get started on Deadpool comics while keeping a linear experience I recommend starting from the Deadpool 2008 run and work your way to the Brian Posehn & Gerry Duggan runs (Deadpool 2013, Deadpool 2015 and The Despicable Deadpool ).

Why these in particular? Well, you can start from the very first comic if you want, but Daniel Way's 2008 comics are much more "light" / easy to get into, and they don't contradict the future runs like the previous ones do (IG Marvel writers don't always read each others work for some reason, hahah).

Then the arc Posehn & Duggan put Wade through is brilliant and my absolute favourite, you can keep reading Deadpool after that but IMO no one gets even close to how good their comics were.

OH and if you're into spideypool there are also many Spidey cameos/ team-ups throughout these! 2016 was the year Spider-man/ Deadpool came out so they work well to give context on how these two see each other ✨

(Again, this is just how I personally got into/ experienced Deadpool best, but if you don't mind little lore contradictions and would like more context for all the characters in Wade's life you can start earlier ! Cable & Deadpool is really good )

In the Wilson-Parker household (apartmenthold) it's not uncommon for Wade to go on sleep strike.

It usually starts with a bad dream, almost always from his past, even more commonly from his childhood. It's the kinda dream that when you wake up, you can still smell and taste the environment that you were in.

Wade will not sleep after that. He doesn't actually need sleep, similar to how he doesn't need food, or oxygen, or all the blood in his body. If avoiding Those Feelings again means withering away into a pile of mush and regenerating afterward, that's fine by him.

The record for the amount of time with no/minimal sleep is probably the time he went 6 days with a cumulative 7 and half hours of spotty naps in between. The thing about Deadpools sleep strikes, though, is this, when Wade doesn't sleep, neither does Peter.

Peter already doesn't sleep a healthy amount or even close to the bare minimum amount, and he easily rolls downhill with Wade. Unhealthy solidarity style.

Sometimes, when the strike starts, Wade loses his stubbornness and curls up in the corner of his ridiculously plush couch and gives in to rest. Other times, it's a pitiful battle, not unlike a toddler refusing vegetables. Day one is more of the sale Deadpool humorous deflection and manly pouting, but after the day 5 mark, he's hardly coherent.

He sits and stares at nothing, occasionally nodding off and mumbling responses to words that aren't spoken. Peter is there to sit and stare as well, stare at Wade, and hope beyond hope that he finally passes out or learns how to finally voice his thoughts and move on from the dreams. He never rushes him, though. He's all too familiar with the want to avoid the influx of images and thoughts that turn your stomach inside out.

As long as he can keep his boyfriend fed and watered and at least semi-comfortable, he feels useful.

Sometimes, it ends with Wade falling asleep on accident, usually while sitting against the wall - arms crossed. Sometimes, he'll literally collapse, his body deciding enough is enough, and it takes a good minute for his heart and lungs to shake loose again. And rarely, Peter will rest his head on Wade's shoulder for a minute or an hour and just whisper

And it's enough to drag them both back to bed.
