Yes hello hi I'm still alive

This last term of med school was..... hell. Not even gonna lie. It was hell.

I barely got time or motivation to doodle, or to even color my doodles.

But here we are!

Also I mentioned that I ship Hugo in a polycule with Varian and Grace to Anna Lencioni recently? She said "Hell yeah poly ships!"

So uh... I kind of did my own form of Inktober this year. Basically, I drew a BUNCH of doodles of these 3. (There are some more, tumblr just limits the number of images to 10 lol) You can also tell I really don't like drawing Varian's goggles, most of the time xD

For those who may not know me from Instagram, I do ship Varian with an OC of mine!! But! I also ship Varigo... and Hugo was supposed to be pansexual anyway, so why not just combine the two and have it be a polycule? I've seen other polycule ships with Varigo and OCs, so why not me too?

Besides, I give Hugo his appropriate character arc in my story. He becomes way less of an asshole by the end, LOL

So yeah... this is Frozen Alchemy, as I've dubbed the ship name of these three. Because Grace, my OC, is an Ice Sorcerer. Hence the frozen aspect of the ship name!

No, she is NOT from the Tangled universe. She existed in my own universe and book series before I started shipping her with Varian, so she does follow the rules of that universe first. So, crossover ftw I suppose!

(And yes, the quote in the last drawing IS, in fact, a quote from Jeremy Jordan from a comic con panel for Supergirl, if you wanna hear the actual voice line! 🤣 It's on YouTube)

A.I. photos are flooding social media and contributing to an Internet where we can't believe what we see. Spotting A.I. 📷s is an important media literacy skill.

None of us have time to research every image we see. We just need people to notice BEFORE THEY LIKE OR SHARE that an image might be fake. If unsure, check it or don't share.

Yeah, I dunno what inspired me to draw this particular scene. Guess I just wanted an excuse to draw Hugo with a smug grin on his face. And yes, it's inspired by a drawing of Hugo that Anna did way back in the day. I just drew his expression in my style LOL And honestly, it's probably my favorite face of Hugo I've ever drawn xD

And yes, Yong is way too distracted telling his mom about the adventure he just had to notice that there's a confrontation happening just outside his window. 🤣

Though oh my God I love how the background (Mainly the tree) turned out. The tree bark?? Next level with the 2 texture brushes I used. It looks so good 😭

The price of leaving...

I finished this last week, but protesting for Palestine, I waited to post it (on Instagram). I'm just remembering that Tumblr exists LOL

But yeah, this is right after Hugo tells Donella he's done working for her. Let's just say, she's less than happy about it. He's right, Don usually doesn't get physical with any of her lackies, but Hugo is different. This is her own flesh and blood, after all. This is the boy she was going to raise to go into the Eternal Library, the boy she's conditioned to be just like her in every way. So to have him say he's not going through with it anymore, that he's leaving her and this life behind? She figured she would knock some sense into him, which in turn, only solidifies Hugo's decision to leave.

This literally started as a fun lil sketch based off a shot in the "Wings of Freedom" intro in Attack On Titan, where Hange does pretty much the exact same pose when they're covered in blood. And it turned into a whole ass scene with Donella LOL

But honestly, I'm proud of this. 1. Hugo turned out really freaking good and really freaking attractive LOL and 2. The symbolism with the walls, the cracks on Donella's side, and the new life growing in the vines to cover up the scars of the walls on Hugo's side, I'm really happy with how this turned out!!
