Spark stretched, leaning back on the grass behind him. He had just had Thumper fly him to Sinnoh where hew as going to do some pokemon observations, and relax with out Go getting on his case about social engagements. He knew he had to do them, but Candela was wayy more sociable then him or Blanche.

But all three leaders had to make appearences… 

He gumbled a bit, “geez aren’t the instinct fairs enough for me though…? No i haveto do the red tie event things..”

“ahh… i’ll deal with them later…”

he sat up whne something cuaght his eye, it was a a pokemon. He smiled. “man.. ARen’t you a beauty.”

Nala had been roaming around this strange new region for some time now. For some reason, it felt like home to her. She had seen many of her own kind here that she saw nowhere else in her travels... What was this feeling?

As she walked the plains, she saw a human male looking towards her. Her initial reaction was to go into a defensive stance at the sight of Spark. Male humans were not a friendly sight for her.

She looked at the male curiously, red eyes trying to judge his intentions as she cautiously treaded nearby. There was a Choice Band around her neck, so any moves Nala had would hurt. Every now and then she would look back at Spark with distrust in her eyes. 

She looked tense and ready for a fight if he came close.

Personality:

Happy-go-lucky but also silent and reserved, Nala is not a Luxray you want to mess with. She is extremely loyal to her family and friends, but only if they’ve gained her trust. She is very cautious around male humans and prefers to be in contact with different kinds of pokemon.

History:

Nala is a Unovan Luxray, hatched in Unova. Although she was hatched in the wild, She always had a knack for battling. It was hard to hide with her golden coat from trainers. It would always sparkle and shine when she didn’t want it to. It was also hard to hide from predators with her coat as well. Most other pokemon either ignored or shunned her for being different where she was hatched, so she moved to the hustle and bustle of Castelia City. Surely the mons of the city would accept her!

Most of the mons accepted her, but some were worse than those back home. It was usually the old or superstitious ones that gave her trouble, and their children as well. 

But there was one that truly accepted her, and that was an evee named Matthias. Matthias lived with a human named Fennel in the dream research lab and often snuck away to go see Nala at different times of day. Matty, as Nala had called him knew what shiny pokemon were from his trainer, and told Nala that she was far from worthless as others had claimed. The shiny golden coat she wore was sought after desperately by humans of all ages. 

Matthias said that the other mons had no idea what they were talking about, and feared what they couldn’t understand. Nala was mostly happy at this new tidbit of information, but was also worried. If she was sought after, it would be hard to find a trainer that she liked...

One day Matthias didn’t come to their usual meeting spot. Worried, Nala searched for him. Going as far as the research lab, she noticed that there was a pokemon door insert on the bottom.  The insert was barred from both sides, and looking up at the sign made Nala nearly scream. This was the research lab that Matty lived in! Why was the door locked?!

Nala never found out why. She was captured by a shady thug on the way back to her den. Things went dark for what seemed to be an eternity... When she was released from the pokeball, she was in a completely different place! Palm trees were everywhere, and the sun was shining brightly through the clouds. An excited little boy stood over her, cooing happily at his new pokemon. He said that his big brother gave Nala to him as a gift, so Nala would do as he said.

Nala and the little boy never got along well. Sometimes she refused to battle or ignored commands by the boy. He only let her out of her pokeball when he wanted her to battle or show her off, so she was angry and irritated most of the time. He bragged about her to his friends, and made it seem like they were best friends. 

But it was all a lie. The boy had been abusing Nala, forcing her to act friendly around him by beating her into submission. The little Shinx was scared for her life... 

Until one day strange men in blue uniforms came to the house and took Nala away. She never saw the boy again and was afraid of any male humans from that point forward. She was given to a kind female trainer as her starter, as the girl was patient and kind to Nala instead of beating her.

Soon Nala and the girl were inseparable. Doing everything together and enjoying each other’s company. With the girl’s help, Nala evolved into a Luxio and was given the Choice Band.

But the girl suddenly got sick one day, and she spent many days in and out of either her home or the Hospital. Nala was her only comfort in the hospital and during her treatment. The humans called it Brain Cancer, but never told either of them the rate of survival. 

One day, the human girl called Nala over and told her that she was releasing the Luxio. Not because she did not like her, but that she wanted to see her happy and not bogged down by what was about to happen. Nala cried out, confused as to what her trainer was talking about... but she just patted her head repeatedly, telling how good she was and how lucky she was to have the Luxio in her life.

The heart monitor flat lined, and the hand stopped petting her. Nala shook her trainer, trying to wake her up. 

Even though she knew what had happened, she was denying that her trainer just died in front of her... Her eyes were glazed over in death, but a smile was ever present on her face as Nala was dragged away by the hospital staff.

Nala ran away after that, knowing that she was wild again...

Her trainer had wanted to see the world, and with Nala at her side she wanted to explore it together. The Choice Band that her beloved trainer had given her was all that Nala had left of their time together.

Nala threw herself into battles with other trainers, and defeated them so they couldn’t catch her. When she felt strong enough, she moved to the poni wilds and evolved there. 

Now she battles in honor of her trainer, always giving it her all against her opponents.

first of all, Nala is a pokemon. i will not be engaging in sexual relationships or romantic ships with any humans!

in regards to my rule above, pokemon or other animal-like creatures who want to ship romantically are perfectly fine to ask. most of the time i may actually ship it too!

i only ship with chemistry! please respect this!

there are other types of ships besides romantic ones! if your muse would like to befriend Nala or be a rival or whatever then tell me! humans are free to request these kinds of ships with me. i just don’t do romantic ships with humans. sorry guys…

please don’t godmod! i try not to make my character super powerful and neither should you. it makes the rping less fun!

please don’t infomod either! infomodding for those who don’t know is when your character knows things about another character that they shouldn’t. it may be in my about page, but those are for the muns to see and understand. unless our characters already have an established relationship, do not assume your character knows anything about Nala, thank you!

mun has a life outside or tumblr too! if i do not respond immediately to any threads please do not pester me. start reminding me a few days after your initial reply. i may have forgotten about it, or tumblr might have not notified me. i may also be working on it, but it is taking me a bit.

please be patient with me on reply speed as i have said in the rule above. i am not a fast writer and can get distracted easily.

i will always read the rules pages of other rpers, so please don’t worry about that.

i have no triggers, but i will tag triggers if requested or stated in the rules pages of my mutuals.
