“It has, and always has been the ancients. More specifically, being able to recreate them so I can properly understand them, and the planets special relationship with them compared to humans. Whilst the Jenova project may not have ended as intended, it was still full of important developments that helped me understand the ancients more. I simply need to recapture the surviving Ancient who holds the last key to understanding them.”

“The lifestream has irked me for a long while. Whilst we are aware of what its purpose is, and that it condenses into mako, I have yet to understand how it truly functions, and how it can act in accordance to the will of the planet. I touched upon it lightly whilst researching the Cetra, as they were able to control it, but little is known about exactly how it works or what it consists of. I doubt it is human souls. I am not one to believe legends.”
