THE TALE: One fine evening a close friend of mine called. "You aren't going to believe this but the biggest rabbit I have ever seen just hopped right up to me."

It turned out that someone who lived near owned this bun. Said friend scooped up the boy and knocked on the door. The door opened, the man said, "We don't want him. You can keep him." AND SHUT THE DOOR! Wackiness ensued and the bun found a forever home and was even given a bun wife!

That was almost 10 years ago. My friend is no longer with us and ... nothing much has changed in the world of abandoning rabbits...
