“Coool.” Opal said her eyes gleaming at the exhibit now. It’s giving her inspiration she needed already. “Is it true they do the same thing if they had pets?” She asked a bit too eagerly. The topic was fascinating.

Leaning on his red motorcycle, War was examining their surroundings. It had been some time since they had seen their sibling Death, they had been long overdue a reunion which is why War decided to come to Beacon Hills. They had assumed a new look, and name.

Cigarette in hand as they scanned the people passing them. This might be fun, a new town, new people. And this town was almost infested with creatures of all kinds. They couldn’t help but grin to themselves, finishing their cigarette as they pushed off the motorcycle and started walking. “Well hello there.” They said, voice deep and dark. Flicking the cigarette to the side as they approached the first person they deemed worthy. “What’s the most fun thing one can do around here?”

Opal probably never understood what it was like to have a sibling. She was adopted by a friend of her mother’s family after all, but she guess it would be cool. But Opal was coming into town as herself. Opal. She wasn;t aware of all the disguises people take on. 

Opal felt herself blush hearing the hello there. Opal couldn’t believe it, a cutie talking to her of all people. And she was in her uniform too. “My boss would probably want me to promote the pop up cafe. We serve suites and do maiden spells.” She said with a grin. “Not real spells of course only fun joking ones for good luck.” She said. “I can lead you there if you want.”

“SO THIS WOMAN comes into the shop, asking what’s the darkest, evilest, most ‘revenge’ looking flowers she could possibly buy for someone, right.” madee took a sip from her coffee before continuing. “i’m half tempted to not ask her what they’re for, but in the name of actually doing my job correctly i kind of have to…plus my nosey side really wants to know what went down. apparently she found out that her boyfriend of 6 months is actually married, has a whole other family. white picket fence and everything. real ‘lifetime movie network’ stuff.” she let out a snort with a roll of her eyes. “so i made up these black, dried roses, thorns still on them. gave her a slight discount and told her to come and tell me if she heard about the reaction. not sure what she wrote in the greeting card that went with it, but i tell you what: she had fire in her eyes.” mads laughed before tipping her mug towards her companion, smirking tugging at her lips. “that’s the only excitement i’ve had thus far for the week. what about yourself?” 

“She should have cut his dick off.” Opal said with a devious grin. She knew too well what it was like to be used for someone’s own gain. “Sounds like that one guy I did his homework for just to find out they had a gf. The nerve of some men.” She said drinking the coffee. “Oh you know me, I work at a confection stand thats a maid cafe and its annoying to set up every day at dawn.” She said. “And no one wants to audition for my band because the idea of early 2000s bubblegum pop meets fall out boy scares people.”

    walking  through  the  vibrant  streets  of  beacon  hills,  kaos  could  feel  the  pulse  of  the  town  reverberating  through  every  pore  of  his  being.  his  senses  were  heightened,  his  eyes  darting  back  and  forth  as  he  navigated  his  way  through  the  sea  of  people.  he  had  just  left  beacon  hills  hospital,  where  he  had  managed  to  sneak  into  the  blood  bank  and  satisfy  his  insatiable  thirst.  despite  the  temporary  relief,  the  air  was  thick  with  the  scent  of  humanity,  making  his  mouth  water  and  his  retracted  fangs  ache.

as  he  quickened  his  pace,  eager  to  put  as  much  distance  as  possible  between  himself  and  the  hospital,  he  turned  a  corner  and  felt  his  body  collide  with  another’s.  he  stumbled  back,  caught  off  guard  by  the  unexpected  encounter. “  shit,  fuck ! ” kaos yelps quickly,  trying  to  keep  his  voice  steady.  truth  be  told,  he  really  just  wants  to  get  home  before  he  loses  it.  “  are  you  okay ?  i  am  so  sorry. ”

Opal slowly stood up feeling her knee and hands scrape against the pavement. The witch slowly got up, no malice or anything of the like in her demeanor. “Accidents happen all the time.” She said with a wince. The witch tried to ignore the pain and the swelling of her hands. “The hospital is nearby right?” She asked hoping it was 15 minutes away. “Just call an ambulance and I’ll be out of your hair deal?”

        the  amount  of  stress  that  her  siblings  caused  her???  ASTRONOMICAL.  the  amount  of  forgiveness &  love  for  their  mistakes  &  personalities???  not  as  high.  all  of  them  seem  to  know  this  as  all  of  them  have  their  own  way  to  butter  her  up.  (  but  she  still  likes  to  think  that  sometimes  these  actions  come  from  a  place  of  earnest.  )  still,  eyes  slightly  narrow  at  karisma  at  the  suggestion  before  a  dismissive  shrug.  “what  do  you  have  in  mind???”

Karisma almost thought she was caught but sighed in relief at the shrug. She must be in the clear right? Karisma smiled. “You know only the best pedicures-manicures-” She pointed to her hair. “I can even dye your hair if you like-I’m sure you would a gorgeous blonde.”

“I KNOW THE NEED IS STRONG,” she tells karisma, taking her hand away, as she leans closer to talk to her. “but some battles we must pick and choose.” ana herself wasn’t a violent person, but she’s aware that sometimes it is a necessity. but if she can de-escalate a situation before it turns, then it’s something she feels is a bit helpful. “besides, he will get his,” she says. “some way, somehow.” there’s other ways to fight back, after all. “we don’t stand for blatant condescension but we can’t burn people without repercussions for ourselves.”

Karisma made another few faces before finally calming down. “I just wih I could give that guy a piece of my mind.” Karisma huffed. “The man had some nerve.” She looked at her friend. “But what can I do now to let go of all this...” She sighed. “This yucky feeling.”

Vincent had came to his usual spot, book in hand as usual and was enjoying what he was reading when someone sat across from him - made even worse when she opened her mouth to speak. His first thought was to push her, if he were lucky she’d fall backwards down the many stepped seats and not bother him for a while. But that would cause a scene and he didn’t want to have to deal with that, instead he sighed dramatically and using a finger to keep his place in the book shut it over.

“My deep, dark secret? Right now my not so deep or dark secret is that I am envisioning your death as I push you down all these stairs. In what world is ‘what’s you deep dark secret’ a conversation starter? You don’t even ask people you know well that question… Did you seriously expect me to answer that?”

Karisma just listened and watched the glare. The threat barely bothered her at all. There was a snort before reaching for her bottle of Nesquik. Karisma eyed the other. “We have a badass up here.” She said trying not laugh. She plopped herself across from him, unfettered. 

“You’re an Aphrodite kid aren’t you?” She asked raising her eyebrow. “Only one of you is flawless, the other one is a himbo, and then theres the weird nature bro?” She pointed her bottle at Vincent “What’s your quirk?”

       Sebastian raised an eyebrow, “It’s your workshop, not mine,” he reminded his sister, feigning seriousness in his tone. “Unless Charley decided to do a swap, and if so, she would’ve called me while I was away.” Which wasn’t the case. If anything, it was the usual good luck message and nothing else.

       “What’re you working on? A fancy fanny pack?” He teased.

“I must be really out of it bruh.” Karisma said sticking out her tongue. “Maybe the girls want to mess with you.” Karisma snorted. “No thats so laast season.” Karisma admitted. She pulled out the belt. 

“A belt that can charge my phone and heat my hot pockets though- I’ll be the hotest shit on campus.”Karisma said with a wink.
