Insane how the fandom went from "BTS is ours and can't date anyone" to "Kinda hope one of the boys gets married or gets a girl pregnant so we can finally afford tickets" 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ

I may look ok on the outside but really I'm always terrified that I'll come across an edit of When Life Gives you Tangerines to It's Quiet Uptown from Hamilton and have my heart crumble to pieces.

I don鈥檛 think we talk enough about how the entirety of Wicked is built on the irony of No One Mourns the Wicked. The musical exists because Glinda feels the need to tell Elphaba鈥檚 story, because she is in mourning and entirely alone in that. Glinda鈥檚 love is what creates the musical because no one mourns Elphaba except her, and that is an incredibly lonely place to be. She鈥檚 just lost two of the most important people to her, and all she鈥檚 trying to do is make someone, anyone else see how important they were.

I hope this guy fucking dies because
A) he's Mr Beast
B) he has WAY too much money if he's renting out the PYRAMIDS OF GIZA????
C) renting out actual historical landmarks that have already been desecrated and destroyed over thousands of years for a goddamn youtube video is actually disgusting.
idk if you think that they're "just the pyramids", they're the ONLY remaining wonder of the ancient world!!! Not to mention!! they're TOMBS!! sure, the people who were inside are long gone, but like?? idk, maybe i'm oversely sensitive, but being a white dude and desecrating an ancient burial site (for profit) and thus disregarding thousands upon thousands of years of history and culture is probably Up There with the scummy stuff this jackass has done

Not only is JK rowling (along with Elon Musk) officially being sued by Khelif, Rowling hasn't tweeted once in almost a whole week since all this made headlines, which is APPARENTLY significant because six days is the longest she has ever shut the fuck up

Is it just me who doesn't understand why people are upset about the promos for s3 not all being Polin related? I mean guys it's only march. The show doesn't come out till mid May. To me it was pretty obvious that the kanthony content we're getting right now is the appetizer and we'll probably get a lot more Polin related promo closer to the release date of the series. Plus it's not like they've left us to starve. We got the "I've missed you" clip and the "your eyes are the most remarkable shade of blue" clip. Everyone relax please. The show has been teasing Polin since season 1. Each Bridgerton season so far has been amazing and I'm sure this won't disappoint either.

I absolutely loved the PJO show but it's moments like this that I missed most. Our trio are the bravest and most dedicated heroes but they're also a bunch of goofs. I hope we get more scenes of them being dumb kids in future seasons.

It's so interesting how percabeth almost exchange character traits in their relationship. Normally Annabeth is the one who's always thinking ahead and Percy is the one who gets carried away by his feelings but with their relationship it's the other way around. In a lot of ways Annabeth seems like the more affectionate one, she initiated their first kiss, she was the first to say "I love you" and in general with their relationship it seems like she gives into her feelings a lot more easily (or maybe she just realizes her feelings faster than Mr. Seaweed "doesn't realize Annabeth likes him even after she kisses him" brain). On the other hand Percy, who usually never knows what he's doing is the ultimate planner when it comes to their relationship. He's always thinking about his and Annabeth's future; them going to college, getting married, having kids. It's things like these that make it difficult to figure out who fell first and who fell harder because on one hand you have Annabeth who loves Percy with so much intensity but then you have Percy whose love for Annabeth is as vast as the ocean.

Don't get me wrong I live for all the percabeth as a couple content we got in HoO but pre-dating baby percabeth hits different. Omg the jealousy, the blushing, Percy freaking out because Annabeth broke the rules and sat too close to him at the Poseidon table. To those who were crying about Percabeth being a slow burn, trust me the yearning is where it is at. We won't get percabeth as a couple until the final episode of season 5 but best believe Percabeth nation will be feasting like kings.

I'm not American and also just not someone who enjoys watching sports so it was news to me that Taylor was only shown during the games for like 40-50 seconds. That is less than a freaking minute. To people who were complaining about her being shown during the games, I ask in all seriousness, What is wrong with you??? All this time I thought that Taylor took up like at least 30-40% of the screen time or something cause of how much people were complaining. Please tell me if there's more to the story than this cause I am genuinely concerned over how stupidly irrational some football fans are.

The more I think about it, Taylor Swift dating a football player or an athlete just makes so much sense for her. From what I've seen and known of Taylor, I get the feeling that she is someone who enjoys showering those close to her with love. She's someone who takes pride and joy in celebrating the achievements of her loved ones. It's a love language of sorts. But in most of her relationships so far, her boyfriends have either been really private or just not as successful as her so in a way it's like she's never really been able to cheer them on or express her love for them without having to overthink. I'm glad that she's in a relationship now where she is able to cheer someone on. Because I think in a way being able to celebrate Travis's success lets her feel like she can enjoy her own success without feeling guilty or feeling as though she's making boyfriend feel bad.

Watching the documentary, it's so much clearer why it was so important to Rick that the main cast be diverse. I think too many of us were caught up with the fact that the books we loved as kids were getting a faithful adaptation that we forgot that this is a kid's show. So many children are going to grow up with this show. This will be for them what Harry Potter was for us. Even though I loved the Harry Potter movies and wouldn't change anything about them, I'd be lying if I said that as a person of colour I didn't feel a little excluded. I remember being so excited when the goblet of fire came out and introduced us to characters like Padma and Parvati Patil. For the first time ever I felt like someone of my ethnicity could also belong at Hogwarts. I know that Disney's attempt at race swapping in the name of representation definitely has its issues but in this particular case I genuinely think that having a diverse cast was incredibly important and in touch with Rick's initial intentions behind writing the books. Representation in Children's media, especially in a show such as PJO is incredibly important. I know it's different from the books but imagine in this day and age watching a show about a camp where everyone is white. Even if it's not intentional, it's exclusionary. And besides, the actors are all incredibly talented and capture the essence of their characters so well. Isn't that what really matters anyway? So if there's anyone still complaining that the show isn't faithful to the books, I would urge you to dig a bit deeper. Cause even though the show may look different from how you imagined, its heart and essence is the same as the books.

I'm rewatching episode 5 and the acting is so good y'all. Like there's something so magical about two actors doing their absolute best to make a scene come alive. Leah and Walker matched each other's energy so freaking well. Like the team work was so on point. Had either one of them lagged in any way the scene would have been so different. There was no overacting or underacting from either side. They were on the exact same wavelength. I CANNOT wait for season 3-5 when the yearning and angst is turned up several notches cause if they're already doing so well I can't imagine how good the percabeth scenes in the later seasons are going to be.

"Not my Annabeth" is beside the point of Percy Jackson as a whole. I don't care that there are other kids in the series that are POC. You are completely missing Rick's entire point.
Rick Riordan came up with Percy Jackson for his son who had ADHD that's why the pushback on Leah makes me so sad. He wrote these stories to show ANYONE can be Annabeth, Percy, and Grover. Anyone, no matter their disability, heritage, familial life, or wealth can be a hero. You are telling a little Indian boy somewhere he can't be grover. Some little Black girl that she can't be Annabeth. Some little blonde boy that he can't be Percy. So when you say "not my Annabeth" you are telling all those little kids who see themselves in her, not them.
