Yesterday I watched the first arc and after a little cry and a good sleep these are my impressions (not going to go into deep dives, I'm not that kind of person unfortunately), they are not in order:

I love Caitlyn, I love Vi, so watching the third episode was heart wrenching. Also a good way to show how radicalisation happens (keeping in mind the earlier episodes and the finale of Season 1), though we all are hopeful that Caitlyn will redeem herself;

I love Jinx, and her alliance with Sevika is so funny. I call it alliance because friendship seems too much and watching them get rid of the chem baron was pretty satisfying; and the kid?! Respect for her, saving Jinx at the last second then staying with her even when Caitlyn was shooting at them;

After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.

I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.

My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.

I want more people to know that while the Palestine Olympic team consists of only 8 athletes, at least 69 Palestinian Olympic athletes have been killed since October 2023. This includes athletes who were going to compete in these games and retired athletes such as Majed Abu Maraheel, the first Palestinian Olympian, who died of kidney failure in a refugee camp product of lack of medical treatment.

ICJ has ruled that Israel’s settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories is in breach of international law.

The "transfer by Israel of settlers to the West Bank and Jerusalem as well as Israel's maintenance of their presence" is "contrary to article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention", a panel of 15 judges from around the world said.

The court said Israel must end the construction of settlements immediately - acts which render "Israel's presence in the occupied Palestinian territory unlawful".
