Writing tips from a very much not expert

Or - what I've learned since my very bad first story in kindergarten that I never finished

Use proper punctuation - unless you're going for the vibes

Always start a new paragraph when a new character is talking.

Mix up the words that start a paragraph - don't always use dialogue, a characters name, or "the"

Anything can be a noun if you try hard enough

Anything can be a verb if you try hard enough

Anything can be an adjective if you try hard enough

Put poetry into prose

But maybe not prose into poetry

Then again, do that, you never know what might happen.

Unreliable narrators are great.

Reliable narrators are great

There are a lot of things you can do with the prounoun "you" even if not writing in 2nd person

Don't write while sick

Do write while sick

Write a list of writing advice tidbits to let people know you can't work on your fic because you got sick with the worst timing ever and are a bit mad about that

Procrastinate by writing and procrastinate writing by doing what you were procrastinating in the first place and hope that they even out

They won't

Do procrastinate

follow your instincts

Put that one weird line you came up with at ten pm into everything

Don't write while tired. Except for when it works

Follow the vibes

There's a difference between not doing what everyone else does just because you want to be different and not doing what everyone else does because what everyone else does is dumb and you hate reading it.

People ask me why I call Dan Heng just as unhinged as the Trailblazer. Like, he is. He just is. He just hides the crazy better. Yes, he lives in the Archive room which makes him seem like a big nerd. He is also the guard of the Express, however, and will throw hands. He is a protector, either by nature or by choice, and he takes the job of keeping the Astral Express crew safe as a sacred duty. He is also unhinged. That man isn't normal. He just has the ":|" face syndrome. He is capable of nerd talk. Still unhinged.

Because Dan Heng isn't of the path of Erudition. That's Jing Yuan. Dan Heng is of the path of Hunt/Destruction. So he is, as expected, unhinged. Never change, king.

1.The man literally stumbled into a boxing ring and became a prominent fighter there in a matter of hours all because his companions slept in a little extra.

2. For someone who is has "no interest in stroking conflict", he will also not hesitate to throw hands and show no clemency if the conflict cannot be negotiated. It can be capital of the guards and daughter of the Supreme Guardian, Lieutenant of the Cloud Knights who is like 14, Blade "The nightmare" Mara-struck Stellaron Hunter himself, Vidyadhara preceptors, a demigod.... Anyone really.

3. His kind is basically suffers quiet extinction. The Alliance has rule about spilling Vidydhara blood. Did he hesitate in that moment? NO. The moment it became clear his opponent wasn't to be reasoned with, after hearing Bailu's wishes, the man thrown hands with zero hesitation. Despite there being Cloud Knights.

4. Dan Heng and Trailblazer knew each other very briefly before Belobog. And yet TB and DH exchange one look with other before deicing to fight the guards and run for it. And they did. "Unhinged to unhinged" communication.

5. DH will not hesitate to commit crimes if it's for his companions. He was banned from Luofu, from Xianzhou. He had no desire to go to Luofu again. But the moment he thought Blade was a threat to his companions? Sure, he will trespass, sure he will step foot on this place he didn't want to come back to, sure he will make himself hunted there if it's for his companions. Fight Blade, fight Yanqing, provoke the General of the Luofu who goddamn signed his banishment edict.

Did he want to go to Penacony? Not really. Did he go to Penacony? Yes. Because his companions were in danger.

6. He will talk smack. Why not at this point, right? Oh, also, you are not spared from smack talk even if you are his friend. And Trailblazer matches his freak. "Unhinged to unhinged communication".

ok ive talked abt it before but for the genshin/beyblade crossover fic that is being cooked (very very slowly but it is there I promise) I hc that freminet is part of the dark nebula and is responsible for creating the beys we see then make in the season, with dark bull being the prototype and then dark gasher and evil gemios coming later-- basically that he's responsible for that bey upgrade machine (he has a lot of canon interest in machines and regularly tinkered with devices both in his home and in the hoth, and pers is his own creation that he is regularly improving).

now imagine if you will freminet becoming really good friends with madoka and they nerd out over theoretical bey designs and after the termination of the dark nebula, they go into the building and freminet is able to salvage the work he'd done. imagine he uses the machines design and algorithm to help improve the bey analysis software that madoka is alr shown to have in her laptop and in her basement workshop, allowing her to run better and more detailed simulations

imagine him permanently taking up a job at b-pitt and helping her dad out in the shop, tinkering with new parts to find optimal combinations, and helping out with repairs on the side

I'm drawing about beyblade collaboration from different generation (Kenny [Bakuten Shoot], Madoka Amano [Metal Fight], Naoki Minamo [burst], & Multi Nanairo [Beyblade X]). They are working about the beyblade project from stadiums, beyparts, and bey-system (Normal, Burst, and BX/CX mode) (I'm almost broke my arm😢)
