Why are v6s so expensive

First post in years my bad lol. I’m still collecting. I have since moved out so I can’t spend all my income on beeping toys like I used to be able to but I still have added to my collection since I last posted. My most recent addition was this new red music star

It WAS on eBay for around £180 but I put in an offer for £120 which got accepted so I’m kinda pleased about that but I still think that is WAY too much for a v6. Compared to my first v6 which I got in 2013 which was 10x less expensive. When I first started collecting everyone seemed to hate the v6 but now it seems the tables have turned. I still think it’s kinda neat I mean the buttons suck which is really bad for a tama based around rhythm games but there’s still a lot to do on them.

I would post an updated collection but my collection is currently split between my own house and my parents house. At some point I’ll have them all in one place again but since 2022 I’ve only gotten a bunch of the new connection rereleases and a couple unis. Also a digimon colour which I ran for like a day before I had to put it away bc I didn’t have the time. Looking forward to running it properly though bc bro it’s so cool.

Anyway maybe I’ll start posting again it depends if anything interesting happens or I have something to yap about

Updated Tamagotchi Collection

In March I finally went to IKEA and bought a detolf. So now I have a more nicer display for my collection. Putting this all together really let me appreciate my collection and how big it has got. I hope it gets even bigger one day!

Updates :D

Hey guys I haven't posted in a while! This was mainly due to school and things happening in my personal life mostly just finals and all that stuff but I have been doing tama stuff I just haven't been posting.

Since I last posted, what I have ordered on ZenMarket did arrive safely and in good condition

I replaced the o ring on the entama to a black one but everything else didn't really require any cleaning or fixing.

Since then I did a whole lot more including finally getting a proper display for my collection which I will post separately.

Another update is that since then I got 4 other tamas! I got another akai, 2 ketais and a plus! This means I now have one of every japanese connection released!

The only one that didn't need fixing was the brown ketai though. The pirate akai had a broken antenna which I removed and the plus and blue ketai had faulty buttons which I fixed by opening them up and cleaning the contacts.

I also have another ketai in the mail! I won it through an ebay auction. Its the special black and white shell with a black ir sensor. I am excited to get it!

Tama Auctions!

Hey! I got paid recently so I allowed myself to go wild on Yahoo Auctions heh. I managed to win 3 tamas!

This house Famitama has been one of my dream shells for a while now and I am so happy it still has the key with it. I have to admit I paid more for it than I would have liked to but we don't need to talk about that

I also won this akai that looks practically new from the photos but we will have to see. It's funny I bought an akai before getting a ketai but oh well.

This last tama was a last minute buy which I thought I wasn't going to win but I was wrong :D. Its an entama! Yes I DO have 3 entamas already but shell.... pretty. The rubber band holding the beads looks a bit piss coloured so I'm definitely going to change it.

Collection Additions + My experience w/ ZenMarket

Hey I haven't posted in a while so lemme catch up with you guys :)

So since I last posted, my Smart had arrived! Shipping from Amazon Japan was very fast and I was impressed with how quickly it arrived!

Sadly, my initial impressions are quite negative. The touch screen is annoying to use, the sound is tinny and I think it takes way too long to fill the hunger bar. However, I do like the rechargeable battery and the fact it is pretty much the size of a connection.

Speaking of shipping from Japan, I used ZenMarket for the first time! I bought an UraTama with no screw(??) from Yahoo Auctions Japan for only 3000 yen which is like £20. I don't know why the screw was missing but the rest of the tama seemed to be in good condition.

Anyway, today it arrived! I paid for EMS shipping but I wasn't sure how long it would take to arrive due to the current circumstances but it shipped on the 24th and it arrived today so it took 1 week exactly to arrive. It was well packed and I had a positive experience using ZenMarket.

The bad thing now is that I want another one 😔

I already have my eye on more tamas on ZenMarket so this won't be the last time I buy something from them!

Collection Updates

So first of all, I just wanted to announce that I bought a Smart!!

I used amazon jp to buy it as I heard positive experiences from other UK buyers plus it was cheaper than what was on ebay. They supposedly handle all the custom fees and include them in the shipping fee which is a relief. I also took the opportunity to buy the rainbow friends sma card as it was on there for a cheap price. I hope to buy the melody one when it comes out too. I'll try to post when everything arrives :D

Additionally, I also bought my first digimon! Its a red and black digimon X. I haven't taken it out the box yet.

I will definitely run it when I get the time though I am really excited about the 'quest' mode it has. I have watched some videos to teach my how to use it and its exciting to try something new outside the usual tamagotchi formula :D.

New Arrival

That entama that I said I ordered in the last post arrived today!!

Heres some pictures of the unboxing:

I love this design so much and I am so glad to finally have a clean version of it.

I mentioned before I already had this shell but I got that used and it arrived pretty beat up

As you can see the one I already owned is pretty dirty and that was after I had cleaned it to the best of my ability. The buttons on it are from a v5 knockoff I got on aliexpress bc the ones that it came with had chunks missing and were hard to press. Nevertheless I loved the shell on it and I am glad to have a brand new one in my collection. I love the red and black beads on it too!

I am not going to run it yet as I am juggling work and school atm but I will when I get a chance to. I ran my red christmas entama in december and I loved running it (especially with enwarehouse)

New Tama Ordered!

I made a late night ebay order which is honestly never a good idea but this time it was for a brand new entama!

I really like the GUTS! designs because to anyone who doesn't know about guts points its really bizarre to have some tamagotchi that just has GUTS on it.

I already own an entama with this design but its pretty beat up and I had to replace the buttons on it bc there were chunks taken out of them(??) and they were hard to press. So I am pretty hyped to have a brand new one in pristine condition.

Collection Addition #1

My latest addition is this purple iD L which I got as a gift from my boyfriend. It was used but still with the box and in amazing condition.

I ran it during my christmas break and managed to get 2 gens before I put it on pause. Lately, I have started a new job and I am still trying to juggle that and school so I don't really have enough attention to run a tama during these times.

That being said, while I ran it I was inspired to dig out some old id L backgrounds I had made and even converted some of my meets wallpapers into id l ones which was... a pain.

This city skyline apartment was my own design and I am really proud of it but it shines way better on the meets lmao

There is supposed to be a glass floor which would be terrifying irl. Also i DID rip the computer and sofa from the +C default background I am not good at spriting objects lmao.
