i was reading the pain arc again.

oh so it’s ok for naruto to get his revenge against pain to avenge jiraya because you know he’s not a child anymore and he has The Great Will Of Fire™ burning inside him to protect konoha, but sasuke getting his revenge against itachi was childish and against the village that murdered his entire clan was just a stupid whiny emo kid thing. right.

I have a headcannon for NaruSasu.

Sasuke would definitely steal things from Naruto's apartment. Like everything he can, clothes, random scrolls, bloodied kunai knives, whatever. Because he wants to hold onto everything he can from Naruto incase he ever leaves, like his family did. When he was younger and angry he probably never grieved properly or made any sort of shrine to his family. He never kept items from them so he could suppress and forget the pain of loosing them. Now he regrets not doing anything like that, so he takes as many of Naruto's things as possible to fill that hole.

Naruto: did you take my shirt with the black flowers?

Sasuke: *blushes* no

Naruto: *smirks* okay

Naruto doesn't really care that stuff randomly disappears from his apartment. The first time he noticed something missing, he thought it was just because he was messy and lost it. But when he figured out where his stuff was going, he thought Sasuke was cute for taking his stuff and didn't mind it. It's adorable that his boyfriend wants to keep things of his and Naruto is just glad to finally have someone that even wants his stuff, or more or less him.

THIS NARUTO OVA CALLED "The Cross Roads" IS THE CUTEST THING EVER

Like seriously Sasuke is the most adorable little bean in this OVA, it’s so freakin’ adorable istg and the SNS feels are overflowing!!

To start off with, this OVA is set right after the Land of Waves arc AKA the part of the manga where Sasuke’s body moved on its own to save Naruto. Sasuke even has a dream about it at the very start!

And oh what’s that? Bandages on S'uke’s neck? From saving his one and only *cough* best friend? You betcha.

So then the plot starts and cute little Team 7 go on their mission - with Kakashi late of course. I mean, just look at that face. He looks so shocked, he’s actually showing real emotion like he is literally so precious ;U;

(THE SUBTEXT IN THIS SCENE IS KILLING ME OMG):

I’ll just leave this here *clears throat* Ahem…moving on.

And then there are his interactions with Nardo throughout the length of the whole damn OVA…

He’s so protective of him, but still thinks he’s the biggest loser around but can’t help but worry over him when he chases off after the kidnappers (lol three guesses who was kidnapped XDDD)

ARE SO PRECIOUS!!!

^^^^^This is the real Sasuke, when’s he’s with that total moron Naruto. You can just plainly see how easy Naruto draws different emotions out of him, whether it’s annoyance, frustration, worry and even fondness. He’s not even thinking about hiding them behind a stoic mask, he just feels the emotions intensely because hey that’s what Naruto does to you, even and especially to someone like Sasuke.

So once they catch up with the bad guy an awesome fighting scene takes place, NaruSasu fighting style! It’s so sweet watching them have each other’s backs and everything, even after the Land of Waves Sasuke is so determined to fight together with Nardo and be by his side. I mean…

JUST ADORABLE. Even when he is injured and bleeding, Sasuke’s main concern is still Naruto (likewise that even tho Nardo got beat down he’s worried about Sasuke ;///;)

And then at the very end, when they’ve defeated the bad guy, Nardo collapses from exhaustion of course…

Look at the softness in Sasuke’s gaze as he looks at his Usuratonkachi:

And now look at it when he looks at the bad guy:

BONUS:

…Meaning that this was in Sasuke’s memory all along.

Case in point: HE IS SO IN LOVE WITH NARDO OKAY LIKE THERE IS NO DOUBTING THIS EVIDENCE LOOK AT THE FACTS PEOPLE!

After 3+ years Sasuke still remembers this, still has it locked away in the depths of his mind. Even though it was just another mission, it wasn’t. Yes there is Orochimaru side-plot but more to the point

I just think that Naruto will always be able to elicit some sort of emotional response from Sasuke; it’s not possible for him to be around Nardo and just feel nothing. He can’t turn his feelings of like he did with Sakura or with Karin. Naruto will always manage to make him feel, whether Sasuke likes it or not.

My advice: Go and watch this OVA and drown in the SNS/classic Team 7 feels. You won’t regret it and that’s the truth.

One day Naruto looses his memory on a mission.

It’s not that bad really, he still remembers his name and that he’s from Konoha he just…doesn’t remember all his friends or anything like that. He doesn’t remember how close he is to all of them. But Kakashi tells them as long as they tell him small stories about their relationships and how it was all like with him.

So Naruto is extremely confused and hardly remembers any of what they tell him, though it strikes a cord in his mind. 

Meanwhile Sasuke, who’s devastated at this development, has been avoiding Naruto, but it’s Sakura who pushes him to visit. 

And Naruto recognizes him. Not his name, or who he is exactly but he just feels familiar to him. 

Everyone decides to leave them alone but Sasuke sits with him and tells him their story. And there’s just so much and Naruto just soaks it right up. 

But then while Naruto is sitting there, watching Sasuke tell him everything they’ve been through he just asks,

“Did you love me?” 

And Sasuke is frozen because he’s staring at Naruto and Naruto is staring at him and they both know the answer but Sasuke just…can’t say it. Finally, Naruto just mutters, 

“Because I think I loved you.”

Sasuke leaves. He avoids Naruto and these feelings because there’s no way Naruto loves him back. There’s no way he could remember loving him because how could someone as bright as Naruto want him? 

Of course, Naruto eventually does get his memories back and the first thing he does it find Sasuke. He corners him and looks him straight in the eye.

“You never answered my question.” He says.

“Do I have to?”

“Just please…do you love me?”

And Sasuke can’t lie. He can’t say no because he’s been bottling that up for years. And the smile on Naruto’s face makes it worth it. Especially now they had a new promise of forever

Uchiha Sasuke

Can we just… sit and take a moment to talk about and appreciate Uchiha Sasuke, please?

Uchiha Sasuke, this guy who as a kid put so much effort in all he was doing because what he wanted most was to be recognized by his father, who trained harder every day to be better. This little kid that loved his brother so much and wanted him to play and pay attention to him. Who liked his mother’s food so much that he asked to be served twice.

This kid whose own beloved brother took away everyone he cared about, every person who was important to him in one night, and made him see it with his own eyes as a 7 years old little boy.

This child who grew up alone, all by himself in his dead parents’ house. Who loved his family more than anything, who loved his clan, his bonds. This boy who loved in such a pure and intense way that it broke him. This boy who grew up wondering, torturing himself with the question “why? why? Why me? Why him?”, who loved with so much rage that having all taken away from him made him feel lost and in hell. Who choose loneliness because he didn’t want to feel that lost again.

Uchiha Sasuke is just a boy who once loved and then lost all of that. And even so, he didn’t give up to the world, he stood up with his own feet and he grew better and stronger, it didn’t matter if he did it alone.

Uchiha Sasuke was this boy who claimed to be the loner, this boy who poisoned his soul with hate and seek for revenge for something that chase after him through all his youth years.

Uchiha Sasuke HAS flaws. He is not perfect, just like no one really is. Sasuke is broken and behaves emo-ish and self-destructive sometimes. But that’s okay. It’s okay to have flaws. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad person, a bad character. He’s STILL this beautiful guy (and I don’t mean it outside, though I know he’s pretty stunning and gorgeous and freaking pretty, I mean in it like he’s so beautiful inside), who once time ago, when was a 11 years old little boy sacrificed his own life, his own goals (even if he didn’t die, thanks God) to save another’s boy life without even thinking about it. This guy who wanted to feed a poor hungry boy even if that was against the rules and it would cost him his life ambition. Who saved his teammates’ lives not once, not twice, but many times. Who taught what was to loving someone to another boy who was hated all his life because of a condition he didn’t ask for, a condition he didn’t even know he had for years. Who was willing to fight a jinchuriki in its tail beast-form, even though he was injured, so he could win some time for his teammates to escape out of danger. Who acknowledged Naruto’s strength more than anyone else when he was starved for it. Who began to see his own family in Team 7. Who started to create bonds with them even when he didn’t want to. This boy who cared about if Naruto’s was having breakfast or was lying dead somewhere. Who felt in pain when Naruto was hurt. This boy who then ran away of the village and left all behind to gain power and be able to accomplish his goal but then far away got attached to another team, to another people. This boy who still cared about Naruto all this years of distance, who still cared about his bonds even if he didn’t want to admit it.

This boy who cared and loved selflessly.

He’s not only a blind-of-revenge guy who once thought of destroying the village for something they ACTUALLY were responsible of. He’s also a pretty guy who likes and feeds cats. He’s smart and strong and determinate and analytical. He’s vulnerable at his feelings, yes, he’s too emotional, yes, and maybe he’s irascible, yes. Maybe he didn’t make the right decisions ALL the time. Maybe.  But that’s NOT all of him.

He has playful side, a competitive side.  He cries when he feels lost and broken so much inside (like when he lost Itachi), he blushes when he feels embarrassed. He’s still this beautiful man who grew up and got development as a character. He’s stubborn and ambitious and that’s not bad at all. He is firm at his ideals and has this intense and strong personality. He is fragile deep inside, even if he has a God’s power after the hard training. He’s this guy who wanted to cut and break his bonds and make no friends and stay all alone, because he thought it would avoid him the vulnerability of losing all again, because he thought it would help him to reach his goals and gain power, but even so, even so, he has this kind heart that get attached to people even if he doesn’t want to. He’s selfless. He’s perceptive. He’s kind to his very soul.

He cares about the shit in the world.  He didn’t care if he had to carry all the world’s hate in him all alone.

He loves with so much passion and selflessly.

So yeah, Sasuke isn’t perfect, he isn’t, but that doesn’t quit he’s such a good character and he deserves love and fucking happiness.
