i read through the replies and please forgive the part where i said viv is POC. she isn't POC, she's a white latina. please forgive me i'm super white and a little stupid when it comes to words

i wanna voice my feelings on h4zmat airbnb. i don't mean disrespect towards people who stan the show buuuuut maybe a lot of disrespect towards the creators 😳

if you're under this tag, you're probably aware of most of the criticism the show's gotten. and as an lgbt person who's made a lot of stupidly offensive jokes, i can kinda see both sides??? kinda. but like... okay.

i know the show's creator is poc and lgbt. but there's thoughtful, genuinely funny ways to do offensive humor that kind of parody and make fun of people who say shit like that, and then there's just bad offensive humor. like i feel like some of the pro-hazbin peeps are missing that.

not to awaken the devil of another terrifying fandom, but rick and morty? i feel like that show does offensive humor really well. like it's definitely possible to do offensive humor in a way that makes fun of assholes. but viv took all the cheap shots whenever possible and that's not.... how you do offensive humor well. that's how you make an adam sandler movie lol

AND and can we just. talk about the fact that charlie and 🍑 are supposedly confirmed to be a couple but they don't actually.... act much like a couple? i'm not saying they should make out on screen but i genuinely thought they were just close friends when i saw it.

also i liked how over the top angel dust had been when the teasers were coming out, but....... he was hardly more than his caricature when the pilot came out. it'd be kind of fucking awesome if we see him behind closed doors for two seconds and he took off his fake boobs and his entire face to reveal he's an absolute fucking normie (or maybe just straight up a faceless eldritch abomination your choice) NEW HEADCANON OWKCEOSKJC

this was really rambley and incoherent but like. i feel like this show was so close to being good, which makes it all the more disappointing. in the hands of a different creator, i think this could have been really awesome
