When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up? Do you think your younger self would be proud of you?

I wanted to be a lot of things, but mostly I just wanted to be famous. I had this image of me being a rock star, lead singer of a punk band. But then I went on to study computer sciences and later in life became a police officer. Strange how life doesn’t turn out the way you thought it would when you were little.

What poem does your character relate to the most and why?

It’s cheesy, but it’s The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. I’m not someone who reads a whole lot of poetry, but I studied this poem in high school during my indie/metal/punk phase in life and it just stood out so much. Something about how no matter the choice you make, it;s the road you’re supposed to take. I had so many different phases growing up, being the outcast to being popular to being an outcast again, and I know that no matter what changed or didn’t change, I’d still be this very same Shivonne in the end.

Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

I would much rather lose my old memories. I had a shitty time growing. Maybe not as shitty as other people, but you’re the main character of your own movie, you know? This have been looking up, and the thought of never remembering all the big and little accomplishments my son makes growing up just makes me feel too sad.

where has she been?

Shivonne took a short vacation to do the usual travel around to visit family between Hurricane, Utah to visit her  brother, father and step-mother (and very briefly her mother and step-father), her step brother’s in their various towns, and most importantly at this time, her sister and sister in law, Alannah and Alexia, and her newly adopted niece, Jessamy in Los Angeles. 

Jessamy is ten years old, and was placed into care very suddenly, and not long was placed up for adoption. Being 10 years old, her chances of adoption were slim, as the chances decrease dramatically after 7 years old. Alannah and Alexia had decided to become foster parents, as they were still on the fence about adopting. However, when a bright, funny young lady entered their lives as their first foster child, the thought of her ever leaving them was so traumatic that they filed for adoption almost immediately. After a long process, Jessamy finally became Jessamy Santos-Hauser and was legally Alannah and Alexia’s daughter.

Jessamy is a doting older cousin to Noel, and Noel adores her. She didn’t mind his imaginative and confusing little games and had the patience to play along, and Shivonne fell in love with her as quickly as her sister had, and it was no surprise to Von that Alannah couldn’t let her go.

Hi Everyone!

So, Shivonne will be coming out of hiatus on the 21st (this Friday), and I’ll be looking for some threads!

I'm mostly looking to have threads with characters Shivonne hasn’t interacted with and also plot drop based threads, however, I will consider non plot drop based threads with characters she has interacted with if someone already has an idea/

Right now, I’m settling on having only TWO threads for her to get me back into the swing of running two characters. I’m still a little sketchy with my activity, but now it’s not from a lack of muse, more of a extreme tiredness during the week from spending 11.5 hours of the day working and driving!

For AU Child: Who's your best friend and why?

Noel

“Eowyn and Addie are my two closest friends. I grew up with them, even though I’m a few years older than them, we still bonded. Addie, I’ve literally watched grow up. When my mom had to work all the time when I was a kid, a lot of different people babysitted me, including Addie’s mom and dad, so I don’t really remember when it went from being me playing with the little kid to us being genuine friends. And Eowyn, well, she basically took out her bossy boots, told a bunch of bullies where to stick it and demanded we be friends”

“Oh, I have a pretty tight-knit group of friends, you’ve got to be careful who you trust, but I’d probably pick Niki. We’re the same age, we’re second cousins, and we have matching names. He listens to my bitching and doesn’t just roll his eyes at me, and he knows shit about hair and makeup, so he makes sure I always look on point. Plus, I totally have his back, always, and he has mine.

Also, Noel is my best friend, but I’d never tell him that. We fight all the time, but he lets me fight him. We both know it’s better to get our anger out on each other than on other people because we’ll still love each other at the end of it all.

“What? I’m not a player. I’m not playing anyone. I always try to be honest and upfront with people, unless it’s better to lie. Even then, it’s only white lies, so you don’t hurt anybody,”

Noel

“Mom is amazing. I don’t think my sister appreciates just how amazing she actually is. She’s worked her ass off for us for years, sacrificed so much just so we could be happy. She also had to raise a werewolf son without knowing anything about it and quite frankly did an incredible job. I don’t know what kind of mess I’d have been if it wasn’t her.”

“I mean, she’s my mom, so I love her and shit like that, but OMG she’s so annoying. She tries to act like a bad ass and gets pissed off so easily, but she’s honestly not the bad bitch she makes out to be, she’s a total nerd. And, even though she says she doesn’t have favorites, she definitely favors Noel over me,”

For AU Child: What's your best memory with your parent?

Noel

“My best memory with my mom was when she took me out in the police cruiser, and I got to wear a police hat and play with the radio. It was also really funny when I said down the radio that there were velociraptors eating everyone in town and a couple of cops actually believed me. I was only about 7 years old, but…it’s Soapberry, that shit can happen.”

“My best memory is when Mom took me to Sephora for the first time for my 14th birthday. I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup outside of the house, I was only allowed to play with it and I didn’t have my own, so it was crazy hard to follow makeup tutorials when the only makeup you have cost a dollar. But, she always said when I turn 14, that’s when she would let me wear makeup outside the house. That was really the first moment when my mom started letting me be the person I wanted to be because I’m not like her and I think she was sad that I wasn’t. I also demolished her credit card because I bought so much makeup”

For AU Child: Which of your parent's friends do you like best and why?

Noel

“I’d probably have to say, Ephram and Dani. I idolized Ephram when I was little, I just thought he was the coolest guy, and he was like a giant compared to me. Not so much anymore, I’m pretty sure I’d beat him in a fight these days. And Dani, because they’re family, the only blood relative I see regularly, with the exception of my mom and my cousins. I might be an adult now, but she’s still Auntie Dani and always will be.”

“Erm, can I say none of them? Some adults around town are cool and everything, but really, I would just rather hang out with my own friends. I guess Auntie Dani is pretty cool, but let’s be real, we’re not exactly similar. I do admire the fact that they are who they are, and that they don’t feel pressured to fake it. I guess I’ve taken a lot of that in, because I am exactly who I want to be, too, just in a very different way…even though I don’t think many people actually like me.”

Introduce us to your character's AU child (or your character's child in the future as a teen/adult)

((Still on hiatus, but the muse took me to places! Also, sorry this is so long and sorry for gif size))

First, little Noel all grown up. He works for the Soapberry Springs Fire Department, fighting fires and getting cats out of trees. Growing up, he always said he was going to be a policeman like his mother, but eventually, he decided to take his own path in life. Noel still wanted to help people, that was something that drove him. He had contemplated becoming a Doctor or a Nurse, maybe even a Midwife, but his grades in school didn’t quite live up to the requirements for Pre-Med. 

He spent two years after finished High School on a lot of temp and part-time jobs. He worked a little admin at the Sheriff’s department (the perk of being the Deputy’s cute kid getting his first job). He waited on tables at various restaurants and cafe’s around town, a short time as a laborer for the local construction firm, and even worked at the Floros’ flower shop as a favor from his Auntie Dani. It wasn’t until he helped out with a fire safety awareness drive for SSFD that Noel realised that he really wanted to be a Firefighter, just like the one’s he was obsessed with when he was really young. 

Like his mother, Noel has never really been driven towards romantic relationships, and even most of his friendship are fleeting. He was outgoing and boisterous as a child, but as school went on, and kids got meaner, he tended to keep himself on the outskirts of society. Now that he’s older, he put it down to favoring adults company over other kids company as he grew up, and yet favoring adult because the other kids were mean, looping in a vicious circle.

The one, long lasting relationship he’s had is with his childhood friend, Eowyn. They’ve been thick as thieves ever since the day in school when she stood up to the bullies who were picking on Noel for having long hair. Even those she’s 3 years younger than him, it felt good to have someone on his side for once. Noel cares for Eowyn deeply, even if he does get tired of making up excuses to give Faye and Fane, especially when it involves groveling to his cop mother that he actually didn’t have anything to do with it. Although she can be harsh at times and act on whatever she thought was best for him, which sometimes it wasn’t, Noel wouldn’t know what he’d do without her.

Next up, is the dastardly little AU sister, Kiki. Five years younger than Noel and the total opposite of him. Where Noel looks like his mother, except dark haired, Kiki looks like her father but with the fiery red hair of her mother and a temper to match. 

Born with the name Kiera, for some reason Iann Cardero gave her the nickname Kiwi, which stuck like glue and through her early years she was almost exclusively called ‘Kiwi’. As she grew up a little, she hated it and morphed her nickname into Kiki by the time she hit High School (where she is now in this AU). 

Kiki is Queen Bee, Head Cheerleader and all round Dominatrix holding the rest of the school by the balls. She didn’t inherit the werewolf gene like her big brother did, but that didn’t stop her rising to the top of the school food chain, showing everyone who is really the Lioness and who are the lambs.

“I’ve sort of already alluded to this, but I love shitty reality TV. I love Real Housewives, Say Yes to the Dress, Jersey Shore and especially the British version Geordie Shore which is twice as wild,”

“Well...it really depends on what I’m drinking and the situation under which I’m drinking. For instance, wine alone equals ugly crying while watching Real Housewives. However, wine at a wedding equals dance battle at 10 o’clock. But, really, if I’m drunk and some pisses me off, I get freaking mouthy”
