Scene Kid AU Izaya and Shizuo

You can’t see it from this angle, but Shizuo has Izaya’s name tattooed on his left arm.

Also, this took me nearly 5 hours to complete. I must really want scene kid au pictures to look nice. (The other one I did was fanart of Scene Kid AU Komahina.)

Part 2/2

Part 1

Izaya woke to find himself laying in a hospital bed; his right arm and leg in casts, and a dull ache in his head and sides. He attempted to sit up, but a sharp pain in his sides caused him to wince. This caught Shizuo’s attention, and he hurried over to help Izaya.

“Take it easy,” Shizuo helped Izaya into a sitting position. “You took quite a beating from those gammas.”

“What happened?” Izaya tried to shake off the daze as he put his free hand to his head.

“You passed out from the shock and blood loss, so I carried you here,” Shizuo explained. “Aside from the obvious broken arm and leg, you have some cracked ribs and a couple gashes on your head. They stitched them up, but said you’d have a bit of a headache for a while.” Izaya could tell since it was so hard to ignore; even though he had a very high pain tolerance. One question kept bothering him, despite the headache.

“Why?” Shizuo gave him a confused look.

“Huh?” Izaya lowered his hand and looked over at the blonde.

“Why did you help me? You could have easily left me for dead.” Shizuo looked down as he thought of the smaller male’s question.

“To be honest,” he started. “Those gammas were just using my name, so if you did die, I would’ve been held responsible. Besides, you looked like you were in a lot of pain. And, well…” Shizuo paused. ‘Should I tell him? I mean, I did just save his life.’

“I’ve been thinking about the relationships between our counterparts. Delic and Tsugaru are both engaged to Psyche, with Delic also engaged to Hibiya. Hell, even Shizuka and Kanra have started dating. I just…” He looked up at Izaya. “I just wasn’t sure if I actually had feelings for you, and I knew I would regret it if I had let you die back there.” Izaya gave Shizuo a bit of a playful look.

“I don’t know Shizu-chan. That sounded like a confession if I’ve ever heard one,” Izaya smirked. Shizuo blushed hard when he realized what he had said. “I-Izaya!” He immediately covered his face with his hands. Izaya chuckled before looking solemn. Shizuo heard Izaya grow silent and looked up at him.

“What’s wrong?” It wasn’t like the raven haired male to not laugh at Shizuo’s embarrassments. ‘I can’t let him know, but..’ Izaya glanced at the blonde before sighing. ‘He did save my life and practically admit his love for me.’

“Shizu-chan, there’s something I need to tell you,” Izaya looked up at the alpha with a serious glare. “But you have to promise not to tell anyone unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! Got it?” Shizuo held his hand up in honor. Izaya took a deep breath.

“Shizuo, I’m..” he swallowed. “I’m an omega. A pure one.” He squeezed his eyes shut and tilted his head down in defeat. After a few moments of silence he looked up to see Shizuo’s face struggling to find an appropriate reaction.

Shizuo didn’t know how to respond. He thought Izaya was an alpha this entire time. After processing the information, Shizuo finally found his voice.

“You’re a Pure Omega?” he asked. Izaya nodded. “How did you manage to hide it so well?”

“Well, it’s pretty easy when only your closest friend and family know while everyone assumes you presented as alpha.” Izaya replied.

“Is that why you’ve been bugging me in Ikebukuro?” The question caught Izaya off guard. “You’ve been trying to mate haven’t you?” The smaller male averted his eyes from the alpha. Shizuo sighed in sympathy for the omega.

Izaya felt the blonde grab his free hand. He looked back over to him and saw nothing but sympathy and love in his eyes. Shizuo gently squeezed his hand.

“Just to be clear,” he started. “I’m not doing this because it’s preferred for me. I’m doing this because I want to.” Izaya’s face flushed pink.

“Izaya,” Shizuo took a deep breath. “Will you be my mate?” Izaya’s face blushed even more.

“Yes, of course I will Shizu-chan~” He smiled brightly and pulled Shizuo in for a hug as tears of joy sprung to his eyes. “I love you so much Shizu-chan~” The alpha returned the hug and kissed the top of the omega’s head.

“I love you too Izaya.”

Before I start the story, here is some information you need to know:

-Starts appo. 4 years after the end of x2 Ketsu.

-Izaya decided to let his hair grow out.

-Shinra and Celty are officially married.

-Mikado and Anri are married.

-Masaomi and Saki are married.

-Mairu, Aoba, and Kururi are all engaged.

-Delic, Tsugaru, Hibiya, and Psyche are all engaged.

-Shizuka and Kanra recently started dating.

-Shitsuo and Sakuraya are married, but are currently out of Tokyo. Izaya and Shizuo haven’t met them yet.

-Roppi decided to give Tsuki a chance and is slowly beginning to open up.

-Shizuo has been questioning his true feels towards Izaya after hearing about the counterparts’ relationships.

Now on to the story.

Shizuo was walking down the street in Ikebukuro; questioning whether or not he actually had feelings for Izaya, when he glanced down an alleyway and saw a group of people surrounding someone on the ground.

‘An alpha gang up?’ Shizuo sniffed the air and scoffed. ‘They’re all gammas. They’ll never learn will they?’ He was about to turn away when he heard the downed person scream out in pain and then got hit with another powerful scent. His eyes widened. ‘It can’t be..’

Izaya clenched his teeth as pain shot through both his arm and leg.

‘Damn it, those gamma bastards.’ The leader squatted down and grabbed Izaya’s face.

“You act all powerful just because you’re an info broker, but,” he slammed Izaya’s head into the pavement causing his left side to bleed. “You’re not an alpha. Just another weakling for me to pummel.”

Izaya glared at him as he stood up and kicked him right in the stomach. Izaya gasped for breath against the blow, but was soon bombarded with more kicks. It wasn’t too long before he started coughing up blood.

“Hey!” The kicking stopped almost immediately. “What are you gammas doing?” The voice sounded familiar to Izaya. ‘Is that..?’

“None of your concern,” the leader replied. “Besides, he’s been impersonating an alpha. Top Alpha wanted us to take care of him.”

“That’s funny. I don’t remember telling a bunch of gamma brats to beat up this Flea.” Izaya glanced up to see a familiar blonde haired male.

“Shizu-chan…” Izaya managed to muster around the pain and lack of strength that he currently had. The rest of the gammas surrounding him stiffened. He could hear them whispering in terrified voices. He would’ve cracked a smirk had he not been in so much pain.

“Wait,” the leader soon realized who he was talking to. “Shizuo? As in Top Alpha Shizuo Heiwajima?” He took a step back, obviously terrified.

“That’s right,” Shizuo replied. “And it seems like you’ve been using me as an excuse to beat up those below you.” Shizuo removed his glasses and looked the leader dead in the eyes. “That pisses me off. I highly suggest you run before I really start to lose my temper.” The leader signalled to his pack and ran away as fast as they could.

“Sh-Shizu-ch-chan,” Izaya tried to get up, but coughed up more blood and collapsed back down. Shizuo hurried over to him and picked him up gently.

“Hang in there, Izaya,” he told the black haired male. “You’ll get help soon.”

‘Shizuo..’ Izaya’s vision was blurry as he tried to focus on the blonde’s face. Then, everything went black.

Happy Birthday to one very special info broker!

Due to my art programs acting up on me, I was unable to complete the Shizaya family photo before Izaya’s birthday. I still wanted to post the sketch of it though.

The first picture is of Izaya and Kyouhei with their daughter, Kozakura. The second is of Izaya and Shizuo with their daughter, Kaede, and two sons, Hideaki and Denji. Kaede and Hideaki are twins.

My Izaya reacted to an event that happened this morning and asked Shizuo to promise to never leave him.

This is because I’ve recently become a huge fan of Neko Izaya and Inu Shizuo.

And because of this reaction, my Shizuo plush became my cuddle buddy for the day.

The description of my speedpaint will explain what happened.
