I was actually offended and very pulled away from GA fans after such comments. English is my second language lol, but apparently it’s only Europe/Asia-thing to just casually know two or three languages. I guess i cannot read books and talk about them because in my native language ACOSF version I didn’t even remember or pay attention to that “private dagger lessons” moment 😔

Apparently Gwynriels are now gaslighting non-English speakers who point out flaws in their ship by telling them what they're reading in their own language is "inaccurate" just because it's not English?!

Just when you think Gwynriels couldn't get any worse you see them telling some poor soul that their version of the book is "inaccurate"......even though they have zero clue

So just for context, because boy oh boy, are you guys all gonna get a kick out of this, some Gwynriel posted about how Gwyn asks for private lessons and Azriel agrees blah fucking blah, we've all heard the speal and we all know its BS because it is never said its private and Azriel uses the word "them" when he agrees to do it, for christs sake...

Anyway a non-English speaker points out how in their version (Turkish) it clearly says Gwyn asks Azriel to teach them ALL how to handle daggers and Azriel agrees to team them ALL.

But guess what the Gwynriel's said...............

THEY TOLD THEM THAT IT MUST BE AN INACCURACY.

Imagine having the absolute audacity to tell someone that their version is wrong just because it's not in English?!

Now I'm all for defending your ship but christ alive I would definitely stop at whats definitely gaslighting someone that what they're reading has to be wrong...even though they actually have zero clue

Imagine saying in the same sentence "oh well in the english version its IMPLIED that this happens...so any other language has clearly just changed it to make it flow better"

When I came across the reference photo for this piece on Pinterest, the first thing I thought was ELRIEL. Some poses and moments just scream *them,* and this is definitely one of them: there’s just something about the thought of these two hidden away together, soaking in a cozy and quiet moment together.

Gwynriels: ugh omg nobody said anything about Elain not being able to bear Azriel's children! That's probably something Elriels made up to make us look bad!! Nobody says that anymore!

Initially this was based on an idea I had of Azriel suspecting that Eris is aware of their bond; and taunts Eris into feeding him. (Az asks him for an apple. Not knowing how it'll affect the bond- Eris hesitates midway. Az yoinks that wrist over)

And now that I think about it, this was probably also inspired by my love for @neciebee 's bloody perfect fic "I Need You" on AO3 which I implore you to read if you haven't 🤌🍇

And then the ever brilliant @mistandmemories said how this piece looks like a version of Adam and Eve where Az deliberately chooses to sin instead. And I shall never unsee it! take your snake Az 🥵🐍
