Hi anon. I’m not familiar with this particular actor, but if you’ve seen him in stuff that makes you feel like he’d be suited to portraying Qimir’s father, more power to you.

As much as I’ve been fingers crossed Mannyfesting alongside everyone else for The Acolyte to be renewed, I don’t know that I’d expect them to include anything regarding Qimir’s birth parents in his backstory. I could be wrong, of course, but for the time being I’m inclined to believe the most prominent parental figure to him was Vernestra and that’s likely the dynamic we’d be shown impacting him the most.

Oooo the tension 👀 I just like drawing her using her staff okay… this is from like 2020 I believe, my art is so much better now but I’m too lazy to touch this up. I used to have her little reaction in the corner but I decided to take it out because even back then I didn’t like how I drew her face. she used to be saying “what is this guy’s problem?!” That version is still on my instagram if you go digging.
