Shocktale AU Chapter 2- Saved.

Panic consumes you. That voice rings in the back of your head again. You are their only hope.. Stay Determined.

The pellets get closer and closer.

You close your eyes and shake your head. To clear the voice, but also to answer it. Whoever "they" are.. You weren't their only hope.

Flowey laughs again.

"DIE."

You tense. Then You relax, accepting your fate. Suddenly Flowey lets out a loud grunt of pain. You open your eyes fast enough to see Flowey sent flying in flames.

You blink once, then again. What just happened?

A voice startles you and you turn.

"Such a horrible creature, torturing a poor innocent youth.."

When you look at the voice's user, you gasp in surprise. It's a tall... goat woman..?

"Do not fear, my child, I will not harm you. I'm Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. I come here everyday to see if anyone has fallen down. You are the first human to come here in a long while.."

She takes a few steps towards you and holds out her hand to you. You hesitate to take it. But she did just save you. You decide to believe her and slowly take her hand. She pulls you up and off the ground.

"There you are."

She gives you a warm smile. You are taken aback by it. No one has smiled at you like that before.

"Come Child, I shall guide you through the Ruins and take you to my home. You will be safe there."

She turns away and starts to walk, only pausing to see if you're following. After a few moments you do.

You go through the next room and on to the next. You are greeted by an entrance of sorts, with stairs that lead up to it. It looks very old.

Toriel ascends the stairs and awaits you at the top. Before you're given a chance to follow though you're greeted with a bright and twinkling star. You're curiosity get's the best of you. You walk towards it and reach. A screen pops up in front of you.

*(The shadows of the Ruins looms above, filling you with determination)

You suddenly feel a lot better.

You don't know what to make of it. And are confused. But get the feeling you should Save. You Select it.

Still feeling baffled, but being oddly satisfied by it,  you turn to the stairs.  You slowly climb them after Toriel and walk through the Ruins entrance.

Shocktale AU Chapter 1- Fallen

You walk, farther then you’ve ever walked before. The terrain becoming rockier and steeper with each step. But you were Determined. Up ahead you see a large hole in the ground, you walk up to it. But You hesitate. Why are you here again? Because you’re not wanted. You turn and look up at the sky, then down the mountain and to the village below. They don’t love you, so there’s no harm being done. You turn your back to the village, the very same one you wanted to call home but never could. The hole then looks very inviting. You no longer hesitate. You lean. And You Fall. Something breaks. But it refuses. *Stay Determined, You are their only hope. You open your eyes, then sit up. You are greeted with several Golden Flowers, they must have broken your fall. You look up to the entrance, it’s merely a small speck of light. You have fallen pretty far it seems. How are you still here then? Even flowers wouldn’t save you from that. The voice from before echoes in the back of your head. Who are ‘they’…? “Howdy!!” You whip your head around to see a Flower that looks slightly different from the rest. “I’m Flowey the Flower. You’re new here, arent'cha? Despite being surprised by a flower with a face and to which is currently talking to you, You nod. He smiles wider. "Someone ought to show you how things work around here. Guess little ol’ me with have to do.” He winks at you. Suddenly you feel a sharp pull. Then something comes out from your chest. A red Heart floats in front of you. You look at it shocked and confused. “That is your SOUL, it is the very culmination of your being.” The Flower explains to you. “Right now your SOUL is Weak, but can grow stronger with LOVE. You want some LOVE Dont'cha?” He doesn’t give you time to answer, before continuing. “Down here LOVE is shared through little white ”Friendliness pellets“” He somehow smiles even wider and little white pellets appear in front of you. “Go on.” He encourages. “Catch as many as you can.” The pellets fly towards you slowly, not seeming to appear threatening in any way, you open your arms invitingly to them. They all hit your SOUL straight on and you scream in pain and collapse. *1/20HP You look at Flowey fearfully, your expression turns to horror when you see that his face has morphed into a terrifying grin. “Hasn’t anyone told You? In this world-” He summons several more pellets which surround you on all sides. You look around looking for a way out, but see none. “It’s Kill or Be Killed.”
