Where To Buy The Air Jordan 9 “Dark Charcoal”
Where To Buy The Air Jordan 9 “Dark Charcoal”
First teased all the way back in May 2020, the Air Jordan 9 “Dark Charcoal” finally arrives to retailers on Saturday, January 30th.
Confirmed by NIKE, Inc. in November of last year, the pair surprisingly struck a chord with countless sneaker enthusiasts whom previously overlooked the silhouette. Historically, the model hasn’t been a staple in retro collections, perhaps because Michael Jordan never played an official NBA game in the shoe. Nevertheless, the forthcoming proposition’s versatile “Black/Dark Charcoal/University Gold” colorway has raised eyebrows and led many to put aside $190 USD. This option may have to thank the similarly-colored Jordan 12 “University Gold” that launched in July 2020. In any case, the pair’s straight-forward arrangement has turned several naysayers into believers.
Enjoy another look at the three-tone Jordan 9 here below, and find them launching via Nike SNKRS on January 30th in sizing for the whole family.
Air Jordan 9 "University Gold" Release Date: Jan 30th, 2021 (Saturday) Color: Black/Dark Charcoal/University Gold Mens: $190 Style Code: CT8019-070

The Air Jordan 9 WMNS “Change The World” Releases On March 31st
Despite images of the Air Jordan 9 “Change the World” first surfacing in December 2020, the pair has been continually dodging a release. Fittingly during Women’s History Month, the mismatched model has a new release date – March 31st. Of course, that is unless another delay is on the way.
The style is arriving as the first, women’s-exclusive AJ9. It boasts a white leather base that is offset by multicolored overlays. While the left shoe focuses on lavender and yellow accents, the remaining shoe opts for hot pink and orange. These playful overlays bordering the silhouette lend their appearances to innovative vegetable dyes. The colors created by the dyes are also used on the eyelets and midsole piece—specifically yellow and orange. Contrast stitches and an embroidered 23 on the heel round out the spring-ready design.
To get your hands on a pair when they arrive on March 31st; see the store list below. For more by the Jumpman, check out the upcoming Air Jordan 35 marked with a “Scarface” colorway.
Air Jordan 9 "Change The World" Release Date: Mar 31st, 2021 (Wednesday) Color: White/Desert Berry-Healing Orange-Cactus Flower Womens: $190 Style Code: CV0420-100

Detailed Look at the 'Chile Red' Air Jordan 9s
Initially previewed in September as part of Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan offerings for this year’s holiday season, we now have a detailed look at the new Air Jordan 9 “Chile Red” coming soon.
Michael Jordan’s heyday in the NBA once again appears to be the inspiration behind this Jordan 9 style as a majority of the quilted stitched upper as well as the patent leather overlays are dressed in a bright red hue reminiscent of the Chicago Bulls’ team colors. The style isn’t completely drenched in red as black hits do appear on the eyelets, the heel’s “23” branding and pull tab, and on the outsole.
The “Chile Red” Jordan 9 was originally expected to hit shelves this month but according to @zSneakerheadz, readers can now expect the shoe to arrive at Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers on Feb. 25, 2022 for $190. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for official updates coming soon.
Air Jordan 9 Retro “Chile Red” Release Date: 02/25/22 Color: Chile Red/Black Style #: CT8019-600 Price: $190

The Air Jordan 7 "Citrus" Makes a Juicy Return
The highly favored Air Jordan 7 “Citrus” colorway will be making a comeback for the model’s 30th-anniversary celebration this year for the first time in over a decade. Along with the return, the Jordan Brand looks to release 15 new offerings as its Spring 2022 lineup which includes an AJ 7 in a special “Sapphire” palette.
Initially released back in 2006, the color combination was one of the first non-original developments with black nubuck uppers and accents in Bright Orange Citrus and Variety Red hues. The Citrus shade outlines the overlays — an embellishment rarely found on the silhouette — along with an embroidered Jumpman on the ankle collar laterals while the vibrant red accents the tongue, tongue branding and pull tab. Both colors detail the “23” heel tab as well as the midsole which sits over a black rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 7 “Citrus” is reported to release sometime around Summer or Fall for $200 USD at select retailers and Nike’s official website.

Official Images of the Air Jordan 3 "Cardinal Red"
The month of February is going to be rich with new retro releases from Jordan Brand, and of the more highly-anticipated iterations that will be inserting itself into the market is the Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal Red.” This makeup first surfaced onto our radar back in December 2021, but Nike has finally released its official images.
The color schemes that are present on this specific installment are inspired by the classic Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal” — a rendition that last saw a retro release in 2011. Standard qualities of AJ 3 “Cardinal Red” are found through the tumbled leather uppers that are done up in a pure white hue along with the overlays that are treated with Jordan Brand’s signature cement grey and black color-blocking. Its titular tone shows face atop the liners, as well as the lace loops and midsoles, the latter of which come with glossy finishes. “Light Curry” hits liven up the shoes atop the Jumpman logos on the tongues and open holes placed near the bottom of the throat.
Sizes for the entire family are expected to release come February 24 via SNKRS and other retailers. Peep the gallery above to check out an in-depth look.
