Some September sketches. The first girl was inspired by Gatchaman and drawn in a public sketchbook in a Lakawana coffee shop that used to be a Warehouse Cafe in Jersey City. The girl with the headphones is listening to Ging Nang Boyz. The girl yelling, “Chazz Chan” was drawn by a new friend/coworker. I always wanted to illustrate something in a Gorillaz art style so using a photo of Central Park I took a year ago I did this. I’d definitely like to revisit this style and keep these characters reoccurring but I feel I should improve on my process. But for now I hope you all enjoy this piece!
