Okay I literally,, I genuinely need a diagram to explain it but for the short whiny version of my much needed infodump, here's a picture I stole from Verm1c1de<3

This is how PAKs connect to the brain on the INSIDE

Like yeah sure pak connects to the spine and sends signals from there WHATEVER

It's more convenient to just have direct access to the brain so right around where the spinal cord ends the connection branches off to other areas and wiggles it's way into their stupid brain casing.

So my theory here is:

The PAK comes in TWO PARTS

One is removable (external PAK) and the other stays in the Irken host forever (lotsa wires and shit)

The part that stays inside is how the PAK finds it's host body when it's within range- which is how Zim's PAK doesn't need to be like,, manually reattached or anything. It does it by itself. Ive said it a shmillion times but PAKS ARE A SECOND NERVOUS SYSTEM. NOT JUST THE BRAIN. YHEY ARE THE WHOLE THING. If their host brain is unable to function, sending signals to it from the PAK isn't gonna do anything, the PAK NEEDS to be a second nervous system for when the host is incapacitated otherwise there's no POINT!

Does this make sense?? Please tell me if not / if you have questions

It's all just like one sheet of ... Keratin or something similar I'm assuming. But yeah it doesn't show up on an xray that's looking at their BONES because it's a different material. So like-- yeah they're like if turtles has lips and serrated beaks! No teeth!

Rayman is a THINGAMAJIG!!! He's very cool. Honestly there's not much lore n stuff in the series but whatcha need to know is that he's just a silly lil guy and he has huge features.
