      “My my, is it mid-afternoon already?” Speaking as if time had flown by, her hand gave a few pats to the boy’s head. Riku, indeed, was thrown right back into reality when she was called; wiggles on her lap causing hazel honey to glance down at the Toushirou. In an instant, she knew she couldn’t possibly make excuses about doing it ‘later’—she promised, after all.

      “One of this citadel is the menu for today, then! Now, it may not look it, but this place is quite the seasoned one when it comes to history. Whatever should I chose…?” 

     “—I got it! Though it’s possibly not the most interesting, how about the story of the most curious thing that happened during my very first visit to this place?”

               ‘  Mhmm - I’ve been working hard too! Helping out with the horses is hard work, you know! I deserve a little rest. I think you do too, that paperwork looks boring after all!  ‘ Making himself comfortable finally, he stops fidgeting, hands placed gently on his stomach as Riku’s hands busy them self by patting his head.

The citadel... Come to think of it, there wasn’t a lot that he knew about it. Not historically anyway. Random facts were thrown here and there whenever the two spoke about it, but never had he heard and actual story about the place they all lived. 

‘  A curious thing? Aaah, how curious are we talking here? Is this a ghost story?  ‘ He gasped loudly, ‘ is the citadel haunted?! ‘

               ‘  Aruji--!!  ‘ Out of nowhere, the small tantou appeared, running over to his saniwa and sitting beside her, only to rest his head in her lap and make himself comfortable, despite knowing that she was probably busy with her paperwork.

‘  It’s time for a story, ne? Can you tell me one about this citadel? I’m sure there are plenty you have to share!!  ‘  There he is, looking up at Riku excitedly, expecting her to smile down at him and agree to share a tale or two.
