If any of my followers live in ontario canada, please fill this out. Im going to summarize what it's about, but the link has a lot more details!

Essentially, its a letter writing petition to try and get Doug Ford to double ODSP (ontario disability) because it is basically impossible for people on ODSP to afford groceries and rent because of cost of living skyrocketting.

As someone on ODSP i am only able to afford eating by also getting weekly deliveries from a local food bank, and even then just barely. A lot of people arent as lucky as me, because most food banks only let you get food from them like once a month.

Its super unfair that people who are on ODSP cant even afford a small bachelor apartment because rent for them is never less than 800, and thats if youre lucky.

So if youre living in Ontario please fill this out, even if you arent on ODSP. And if you arent from ontario, please share!!! The fact that this push for an increase

Like a prerecorded video you could make the argument that the family was counting on it coming out by a certain date or that it was impossible to remove Dream from it because he was the one lead/filmed it.

But a livestream?? His ass could have EASILY stepped aside and said "this isn't appropriate right now for me to do, but let me put you in contact with other people."

it is genuinely very alarming to me that while the vast majority of dteam bloggers didn’t hesitate to condemn dream’s behaviour and recognised it for breaching a boundary that should have been upheld on his end and quite literally collectively ended the community overnight – somehow the vast majority of fans on twitter are blindly promoting the narrative of his innocence and even worse, acting like it’s all just some silly drama to be mocked and treated lightheartedly because they’re operating on the very misguided (and dare i say brainwashed) assumption that the allegations were proved false. when they were not. yes the multiple stories are complicating things but let’s make one thing very clear: in his twitlonger dream says this.

in the messages he is referring to as ‘real,’ he willingly gave a fan his private snapchat. that is objectively creepy, regardless of if he thought she was 17 or freshly 18 at the time. i seriously cannot begin to fathom how anyone could possibly see that as appropriate behaviour in the slightest. if you are determined to “stay neutral” and are wary of false allegations – this part, at the very least, is not false. dream admitted to this himself. i am begging some of you to think critically about this, especially if you were previously a fan of his. i know a lot of us accustomed ourselves to his more parasocial behaviour and often excused/supported it, but this undeniably crosses a line. dream, as an insanely famous content creator, should not have been the one to encourage a one on one conversation with a younger female fan to be taken to snapchat of all platforms – let alone his personal snapchat!! and once again, this is me ignoring the other, even more disturbing allegations from the victim; this is specifically about what dream has owned up to doing, and it is not okay. 

not a single content creator has talked about this with any sort of critical lens. his fans are claiming that the messages weren’t that bad and are digging through the victim’s personal life in order to “debunk” her story. i am furious that so many are turning a blind eye to the fact the power dynamic at play here is nothing but fucking predatory.

this is about the fact he had inappropriate contact with a FAN. MULTIPLE FANS. we know how heavily parasocial dreams fans are. we know the level of dedication he encourages from them. the level of fantasy. there would be a huge difference, a HUGE difference, between dream and a random 18 year old who didn't know who he was or didn't watch his content vs this situation. THE AGE GAP IS NOT THE PROBLEM. IT'S WEIRD TO TRY TO FUCK YOUR FANS, ESPECIALLY YOUR YOUNGER FANS, WHEN YOU'RE A STREAMER. IT'S DANGEROUS. THEY IDOLIZE YOU TOO MUCH.
