Blum Servo Drive
Introduction
The concept of the servomechanism is much older than the use of the current terms. The Greeks used wind-driven servo motors to continuously adjust their windmills' heading, so the blades always face into the wind. The history of these systems is difficult to trace as the terms governor regulators, and follow-up device proceeded with the use of servo motor and servo drive. The industrial revolution marked a significant turning point in human social history.
The development of windmills, boiler, furnaces, and the steam engine that could not be regulated by an operator required automatic control. Servo motor is a closed-loop servomechanism that uses position feedback to control its motion and final position.
The input to its control is a signal representing the position commanded for the output shaft. Servo systems consist of four main components such as

The servo drives are also sometimes called amplifiers due to they take control signals from the controller and amplify it to deliver a specific amount of voltage and current to the motor. Types of Servo motor
