Sometimes great vacations just fall onto your lap and you are able to watch beautiful sunsets like this surrounded by amazing people and food.

This city, full of beautiful staircases and winding paths, is the kind of city you don't mind being lost in.

I walked out of the subway station in Santiago, Chile, and found myself in the middle of this parade that was happening in the plaza. There was musical bands, dancer and a very energetic crowd which made this a very happy coincidence for me.

Chile is a very long and narrow country. In this picture I am standing on top of a rock in Nahuelbuta national park and I can see the pacific ocean from my left and the Andes mountains from my right, which meant that I was seeing the width of Chile in its entirety, from one single point. 

The tree on the left is a monkey puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana), which is native to Chile. It is such a unique looking tree and I feel lucky to have seen it in its native habitat.
