6. Tunnel of Love

The name was given by local people to this fairytale track. It is not every day you get on the train and find yourself surrounded by natural green. The romantic setting earned this stretch of track its nickname, the “Tunnel of Love.” It’s also called the Green Mile Tunnel, for the bright leafy branches that arch over the railway. The tunnel is at its lushest during the spring and summer when the trees are at the peak of their leafiness, but the colourful foliage of fall and snow-covered branches of winter make for captivating sights as well. couples who sincerely make a wish, it will come true. This might be a new romantic place to discover.

Human interference and natural geothermal pressure created a multicolour geological wonder. Around 100 years ago a well was drilled for farming purpose located in black rock desert. By accident, geothermal boiling water around 200 degrees was hit and later on 10-12 foot calcium carbonate cone-shaped geyser was formed. It is open for the public to see from one distance.
8. Blood Falls

Imaging from underneath the glacier helped solve the mystery, revealing a complex network of subglacial rivers and a subglacial lake all filled with brine high in iron, giving the falls its reddish tint. Blood Falls is an outflow of an iron oxide-tainted plume of saltwater. The lake under the glacier has an unusually salty consistency, and because saltwater has a lower freezing point than pure water and releases heat as it freezes, it melts the ice, enabling the rivers to flow.
